National TV Bargains - Optic 1050 - Alpha AHR Research Project Optic 1050 and National TV Bargains Don't Ship, but OHHH Do They Charge You!!! Internet And Danbury Connecticut

Order NO. 364475, placed 11/23/08 in the amount of $109.70

On November 23, 2008, I went online and ordered 2 Optic 1050 binoculars for my husband and father for Christmas, on the OPTIC1050.com website. Although I printed my order confirmation upon placing my order, I never received an e-mail confirmation, but thought nothing of it. Time passed, and passed and passed, as did Christmas for which I purchased the items 5 weeks before, and no products ever arrived. As I had never received the e-mail confirmation, I dismissed it thinking the order never went through for some technical reason, and purchased other last minute gifts for my father and husband.

This week however, I received my credit card statement, and VOILA, there was a $109.70 charge from National TV Bargains for the never-to-be-seen Optic1050 order. I have spent much time on the internet, and telephone trying to find someone to speak to about this, and each contact is a dead-end.

On January 9th, 2009, I finally tracked them down to the National TV Bargains website where I could actually send an email requesting the refund for the never shipped order. I explained what had happened, and firlmly demanded a refund. I received the following response:

According to our shipping records your order was processed on 1/7/09. You should receive your order within 10-14 business days from 1/7/09. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any other questions. Have a nice day.

I will pursue this through my credit company, but want others to be aware.
