National Union Fire Insurance NUFI NUFI charging my credit card for insurance for a deceased person. Jacksonville, Florida
*Consumer Suggestion: Getting your money back
NUFI has been charging me for years for insurance that my ex wife signed up for through a Mastercard we had together. I have been divorced from this woman for 6 years and she has been deceased for over a year and they continue to charge my credit card. When I first called, they told me only she could cancel the account, even though I was paying. When she died they said if I sent a death certificate they would stop. When I sent a death certificate, they said they did not receive it, and they continue to charge my account. Bottom line, they have charged me for years for something that is not for me and that I do not want. They refuse to stop.

Whhat you'll want to do is get a copy of your divorce decree AND a copy of the death certificate, it DOES NOT need to be certified. send them to the po box address in jacksonville, send it Registered mail so you'll get a delivery receipt and demand a FULL refund. I used to work as a customer service rep for these clowns and I have seen people get thousand dollar refunds for this. just make sure you send it registered mail, that way they can't tell you they didn't get it.
