National Youth Sports NYS un willing, rude, blunt, misleading, un fair teams, disconserned , un willing to fix the situation in a profesional way rather then insulting and threatning, bad refs trying to fight the family member Internet, Internet

I have had bad really bad experiences with NYS 2 years ago i paid for my lil boy would play flag football his team was extremly far. They said they would move me to a different team then they told me i had to wait till next season, I would e-mail the coordiantors &trying to register my son for the next season. I was told i would get my credit for the following season. e-mailed with coordinators and i got the run around for about 3 months i just gave up the funny thing i never got a phone call and i was never abel to get a hold of anybody it was just e-mail.  I lost about $90.00. not cool.

This year i was like okay my boy wanted to play basketball and i was willing to try NYS just because he played tackle football there and he was excited to play with NYS again. NOt a good IDEA !!!!! We have a great group of kids in out team. It was so un fair to our coach towards the middle of the season he keept getting new kids. Pretty much all the kids in our team are new tothe game.  All the other teams we played against were all good basketball players you could tell they are all great. And they have the experience witch our team was all the kids that never really played and you could see that in the court in each and every game.

Plus if you read the rules all the kids are supposto get the same amount of game time negative there were some kids that were bench warmers in the other teams our coach no matter what rotated each and ever singel player in our team.

How can it be fair or even fun for any youth to know that you are practicing 2 times a week and giving it your personal best and in the day of the game you are being thrown in with a team that abviously they are no competition , it's supposto be a fun sport a fun season and it was not. We knew what to expect in every single  game.

Alot of the kids never played and with this experience that they had week after week its disapointing to the player as it is to the parent becuase we all paid the same amount of money to be in the league. We didnt pay any less .

 There was a player that struck my son really hard and my son simply told the ref that it was a faul it was not the first time it happend and it was not called. players at times would be cursing at our players and our kids couldnt say anything to the refs it's a game there not there to be cursing at .

Thats not fair. The ref told him if he opend his mouth again he was going to kick him out of the game. If my son is concerned that he is getting hit and sometimes on purpose he dosent have the right to nicely tell ref becuase he will get kicked out. Becuase he dosent want to hear it. My son was really upset.

After the game everybody in our team was just like okay this is just to much its pathetic how it's organized its crazy. We actually paid for this it was a waste of money.

Minutes later i aproach the coordiantor and tell her my concern as a mother that the ref was giving my son some lip. I told her my concern of how the teams were created and how that could discourage many kids to play especially if this was there first time playing.

How many of us dont have tons of money and with the extra cash we have we try to put our kids in sports for them to have fun and have great experiences and grow. And i remember telling her i dont think my son will be playing in this league again and she told me " HE DONT NEED TO PLAY HERE, GIVE ME HIS JERSEY RIGHT NOW HE DON"T NEED TO COME BACK AND PLAY THE REST OF THE GAMES IF YOU DONT LIKE IT HE DONT NEED TO BE HERE" i was like NO give me my $95.00 i paid to have my son play in this crazy league and i will be more then happy not to bring him to play here again. 

If i was NYS i would be embaressed to have her rerpresenting my League speaking to the parents as if you are doing them a favor by them playing in the league remember we make the league the   parents the kids.  and i would consider reviewing that lady because she does not know how to handel herself in a professional manner. Dosent have any problem solving skills .

I understand the refs are volunteers. And we thank them for doing so but all the kids are there for the same purpose.

when we walk into to the gym we are not greated with a smile from the refs ever since we talked to the coordinator.  But at the end of the game they go and shake hands with the other players tell them good job and our teams gets nothing .. i am speechless... Its supposto be a fun game for the kids and when we have a situation the way we had it it's no longer fun for the players the coaches nor parents that had to pay..
