 They will Call you and tell you that the ontario power authorities are giving a rebate of 650 CAD $ dollars to who Evers furnace and air conditioning systems are older then 7 years then they will set up an appointment with u to come to your house and pretty much tell you that you will be getting Free Units but you really are not they came to my house the other day and tried to do a presentation with me and do all this math in front of be on how I will be saving so much money and my units will be free if I'm approved so he calls the office and they asked for my en bridge bill and said I'm approved then after signing the documenss he said they will call me and confirm then I realized my sun was talking in the background so the lady on the phone said she was having to call me back then eventually I realized that it was a recorded call and there can't be any talking in the background because it could be the sales guy telling me to say yes to all the questions . [continued below]....

..... but anyways I agreed to everything stupid enough then he said they will be installing tomorrow I said ok he left after that I did more research on hvac sales and found an article immediately I called and canceled because I also found out that by law you have a 10 day cooling off peiord I was not charged lucky I caught on within those 10 days or I would of bin stuck for a 10 year contract with these scammed Beware of these people hope this article helps and saves you

good customer service

My furnace was old and I decided to upgrade. At first didn’t believe promised rebates but read about it on Enbridge website and then decided to proceed. Didn’t have bad experience, even tho rebates took definitely longer than a month. Overall I am satisfied.

I am writing on behalf of an elderly woman with a language barrier who has also been ripped off. A guy by the name of Max Nogaer came knocking on her door early last year. He misrepresented some things, he did not fully explain others and now this poor old lady is in collections and receiving weekly threatening letters. Elderly beware! Once you deal with this company you'll soon find out that it will get complicated, time consuming, expensive and very exhausting work to resolve any issues.

We at Nationwide Home Comfort take any derogatory statements like the one posted very seriously. After an investigation into the details of the report we have concluded that this report was created by a disgruntled ex-employee and not an actual customer. The unnamed employee was terminated for a very serious breach of our companies internal policies. The key component of our investigation that concluded that this was an ex employee is the employees that are named in this report. Two of the people that are named in this report do not deal with customers in any way, thier jobs are restricted to administrative duties and no customer would have had any contact with them.



To address the statements/accusations made in this report

This is absoloutly correct, we are a participating company with the Ontario Save on Energy Program offered by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA), we pre-qualify customers for rebates. Such rebates do exist and are avalible to any qualified home owner in Ontario that replaces thier older heating or cooling equipment with high efficency HVAC equipment, and meets the programs standards

Our units are not free, and we make no claims that they are. Our home comfort avisor's job is to make an estimated calcuation of our clients current energy consumption, and compare it to the energy consumption of a new installed HVAC product. In many cases the  decrease in energy expenses from installing a high efficiency produt is more than the monthly cost of the new equipment.

Nationwide Home Comfort through our financial partner (Viva Financial) is able to bill on customers Enbridge Gas distribution Bill on a monthly basis for the equipment that we install. To address the other statment above Nationwide Home Comfort takes compliance measures very seriously. We call each customer after a sale is made to confirm all details and make sure each client has a firm understanding of the installation, terms, rebate process, pricing, and installation date.


I hope that this information provides a clear understanding of our companies responsilbity to provide accurate information in a timely manner to our clients.
