 I was contacted at work by a lady working thru a company called Nationwide. She left a voicemail to my supervisor which was forwarded to me stating that she needed to know what was the protocol to serve me with legal court papers for a loan I had not paid. Since it was my boss I immediately wanted to take care of it as to save me from further embarassment. I called the number provided. I talked to very rude people who will not help or answer any questions other than what is my social security number and what is the claim number that was provided to me.

I did provide them with a social to know what the claim was for that I was supposedly being taken to court for. They provided me with a loan I did not pay, but refused to send me some sort of documents to prove how much I owed or anything. They said I would get information requested after I paid. So I paid, only to have to wait 3 weeks after calling and calling and talking to very very rude people. They finally got tired of me and made some quick letter with a logo on top "Nationwide" saying I paid the full amount. Never did it state what amount I paid or an address for this company.

Only an 800 number. Turns out this company should have not contacted my employer. I filed complaints to the Better Business Bureau since this is a scam! I called the original loan company I used and they told me who they sold the loan collection to and it was not that company and on their records no payments were ever made! I still owe my original loan company and this scam of a company is still doing work. They still are rude. They still do not provide an address P.O. Box fax number or anything. Of course not. So they wont be located. I hope one day this company is stopped.
