I am going to show everyone the letter I sent to my moving "consultant" Shawn Thomas at Nationwide Relocation Services.


Dear Shawn,
I just wanted to take a minute to express to you the aggrivation I have experienced trying to use your fly by night company. I thought you were a nice guy the whole time I dealt with you.......until you got my deposit! Then you didn't return phone calls, didn't keep me updated on what was going on, then you call me 2 days before you are supposed to be here and tell me no carrier has been assigned! This is not a good way to do business. Here it is the day after you are supposed to get my stuff, and a carrier has yet to be assigned. Do you know how that feels? I have to be on a plane tommorrow morning, and now have to hope I can put the stuff in storage which is going to cost me $200 because I have to hire people to help me move it, (seing as I am a woman all by myself trying to make it across the country to be with the man she loves before he deploys overseas again), and make it to the airport on time. Hopefully I don't loose my security deposit on my apartment which is $450, and hopefull I make my plane, or I am out another $300. Also, I think you should be ashammed of yourself and your company, is this how they treat someone that has just returned from a 15 month deployment overseas fighting for your freedom, so that you are able to go to work every day and rip people off! Thats right, my fiancee' just completed a 15 month deployment overseas, he is a seargent in the U.S. Army, and some of the belongings that you were supposed to move, and some of the money that was used to pay you was coming from him. How is it that you or the owner of your company "ALDO" or whatever the hell his name is ....are able to sleep at night! I am glad you failed to find a carrier, because your reports on ripoffreport.com state that you end up charging over double what you quoted, you break everything people own, alot of stuff ends up missing, and all you guys reimburse is .60 a pound. What a joke, a quarter of my belongings cost more than that. And I even called you to see if I should get insurance, and you said no, that is not necessary! You are all crooks, and the U.S. military is going to find out all about your 20 companies with all different names, and how you rip people off! So is the attorney general of Florida, the Department of Transportation, and anyone else that can put you guys out of business!!

I was moving from New York to Washington State, yes, across the country!!
There was never a carrier assigned to pick my stuff up on either of the specified dates, and I am hoping after hiring someone to put my stuff in storage tommorrow because they never showed, that I will get my deposit refunded. They said they would. Lets see what happens!!! My heart goes out to all of you, at least they never got their hands on my belongings!!!
