Natural Cures - Kevin Trudeau - try to get a credit refund!!

I ordered this book on August 11, 2005 for $29.95 + s/h 9.95 for a total of $39.90 - getting through to the order department was no problem - went right through. Of course they tried to sell a news letter and other things I didn't want. On August 12, 2005 I was in Sams Club and saw the book for $19.95.

Realizing I will be paying so much more, I called the 800# to try to cancel the order - They told me this number was for ordering only and I had to call the company number 847-777-7132 which gives you voice mail selections. When I punched the number for returns, Trudeau's voice said there were technical difficulties and to hold. The first time I held on for 1/2 hour (this is a toll number). I tried to get through to them three times and each time I held on for over 1/2 hour, again with Trudeau's voice saying there were technical difficulties.

I called my credit card company (Chase). They couldn't do anything because the charge hadn't gone through and I would have to return the merchandise and wait for 30 days at which time if they didn't receive a credit they would go after the company. I had to go out of town and while I was gone the book was delivered and my statement came with the charge of $39.90 on it. I was told by Chase I would have to pay it or while it was in dispute I could be charged late fee.

I have read some of the other grievance reports and only hope he doesn't falsely charge my card. If that happens, what do I do?
