NCA, I to have fallen victim to NCA. I was assured at the time I needed a modification desperately that they could help me. All I got was a higher mortgage payment and was assured that if the modification Stole $4500.00 Woodbridge , Virginia

I just spoke to Robert Pierson today and he told me that the company is no longer takiing in new clients which means that there is no revenue coming in.  This ultimately means that they have no money to refund as I had requested.  He said that he recommends I sue the company in small claims court in Arizona, but he doubts I would ever see my money.  He did say that they are supposedly still working on my loans and that it takes time.  I am now doubting I will ever see a penny or have my loan modified.  Chalk this up as a hug and costly lesson learned!

I too was assured by Robert Pierson (V.P. Loan Modifications) and Fabian Diaz (Sr. Loan Modification Analyst) of Negotiation Center of Aamerica (NCA)that NCA would modify my loans based on the financial information I sent them in July '09.  After all of my paperwork was sent in, my files were then transferred to their Client Services Manager.  After several months, to which they advised me to skip two payments on all of my mortgages, I started to recieve the collections calls.  I was current on all of my mortgages prior to dealing with NCA.  On occasion I would recieve an update from NCA requesting additional information, which I complied with in a timely manner.  The only time I was sure to get an update on my files was if I would call, and then, they would submit a request for an update.  NCA would then put a call in to the lendors and respond back with generic e-mails saying it is "under review" or "not yet assigned to mitigator.  It was like I was doing the work.  This has gone on for several months.  I was then denied all modification requests by all of my lendors.  I requested a refund from NCA through the Client Services Manager to which they have now taken a stance of being my advocate, to now they just "relay" my requests.  I am doubtful that they will refund any of the money we paid ($9,000 for 4 mortgages).  I never signed up to do a short sale.  It looks like I have to fight this depending on whether or not they actually refund my money.  I will keep you posted on my status.
