For the past week I have tried to reach anyone with this company who can explain what and who I owe. I have been given no help from this company. At one point I was shuffeled around to six different people who kept telling me "that is not my department".

I am at a loss as to what to due. I have tried to reach management with this company only to be lead to a voicemail promising me I will get a call back. No phone call yet.

Any Ideas? Please, all I want is to know what this is for and if I owe. I would be more than happy to pay but knowone seems to want to collect.

#5 Consumer Suggestion

NCO FIN/22

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 05, 2008

My comments is for NCO FIN/22. This is the best company for put in your credit report charges for other companies. And when you calling to dispute the charges in your credit report, they not have sufficient information , and the customer service representative the only said."you need pay to nco for all the charges then the company erase for your credit report" FANTASTIC.........

Robert, STOP!! Never call any debt collector! Especially NCO!

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 02, 2006

Robert,

First of all, NEVER speak to any debt collector on the phone! It will never do anything positive for you, and will in almost every case make things worse.

There is no company called NCO Fin/22. This is just a way they report to the credit bureaus to identify the account/portfolio being collected on.

The company is NCO Financial which is part of NCO Group, aka NCO Portfolio Management. They just "sold" to thier CEO, Michael J Barrist and the NEW NAME will be "One Equity Partners".

If this is on your credit report, just do a dispute to each credit bureau as "not my account" and demand copies of any verification provided. Also demand documentation on the alleged debt including something you allegedly signed to create the account.

Send this by certified mail, return reciept requested. Be sure to put the certified# on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records.

Send the same letter to NCO, but rename it a DEBT VALIDATION REQUEST and send by the means above.

You will most likely never hear from them again.
And if you do, you get paid. Just like I do.
