NCS ACS, Jordan Marx, Carlos NCS / ACS Payday Loan Scam Buffalo New York

You know, I was wondering if they were the same (Ncs & acs). It all started with me getting calls on my cell with voicemails looking for someone who was not me. I finally called ACS back and said I wasn't who they were looking for and that I've had this number for a really long time. The idiot I spoke with just kept hanging up on me, so my husband called to get a company name. Finally they said they were ACS. Anyway, they just kept hanging up and we finally gave up and hasn't heard from them in a month or so. So the other day, we get a call on our home phone stating that my husband (who the phones are both in his name) owed for an online payday loan from 4 years ago. We had made the mistake of taking one out a long time ago, but we definitely paid it off. Anyway the person on the phone said that if it wasn't paid within 2 hours, they would have a sheriff come out to arrest him. HA! We aren't idiots, it's a civil not a criminal issue. The "gentleman" CARLOS (if that's even his real name), says to my husband to stop being a deadbeat and pay his debts. We told him that if we really owed money then send us the details of the loan and we'd have no problem taking care of it. After much fighting over the phone, he says he'll email it. Bahhhh! They emailed it to an old email and all it was was something saying they'd settled for X amount. Please! If I really owe you money I want something with my signature stating I agree to the terms of this loan. So my husband calls them back to say he won't be paying it and go ahead and send out a sheriff. 10 minutes later we get a call that comes up on the caller ID as our local sheriffs office. The lady on the phone tells my husband that if he doesn't take care of the debt they will be sending someone out and gives him the number to call to take care of it.

Now first of all, these people gave gotten so good at this that they can use the computers they have to make it look like they are calling from anywhere. Do they think I'm stupid enough to believe that the sheriff would call and warn me about coming out to arrest me??? Hahaha! Secondly, there has to be a judgement before any action is taken. Anyway, my husband calls the ACTUAL sheriffs dept and they say they have no record of any calls made to us or any judgements against us. So then the clerk has my husband talk to a leiutenant and make a report. NOW they are impersonating law enforcement, and that's a federal crime.  Then yesterday, I got another call from a guy Jordan Marx, claiming to be a process server and he says there was a failed attempt to serve us with papers regarding a claim. He says to call back such and such number to take care of our claim, but it's the same number he called from. So stupid!!! Anyway, there is some investigating going on. I hope they catch these smarmy idiots and put them in jail. SAVE ALL YOUR CALLS FROM THEM OR RELATED TO THEM! Call law enforcement and keep reporting them.
