I recieved an unsolicited sales email from this company. I am an avid golfer in Southern Connecticut and I belong to the gold channel our as well as to a private club. I am always interested in learning more about what is available in our area. After researching the company, I found that the owner and operator is currently being tried for felonies involving fraud and several other misdomeanors. I felt as if he was starting this company and reaching out to other established people in the golf community to possibly find another avenue of fraud. As a retired member of the legal system, I could not just sit around and let other people get duped into this scam.

Hello,
I am Tom the Director of the New England Amateur Golf Tour. The company is in fact real and there is no intent or reason I or anyone at this company would rip off anyone. We created this company to give like minded golfers a competitive tournament schedule all throughout New England of course they couldnt otherwise play. I own the legal rights to this company and it in no way rips anyone off. The league schedule will not open until 2017 in the spring. I am not sure why someone would write an article like this.
If there was so sollicitation to the league please post a picture of said solicitation so that I can make sure it doesnt happen again. I being in charge of all outgoing emails dont recall anything going out yet for invites.
Additionally, I would like to not the owner of the Golf Tour, also owned car dealerships. The store was wrongfully accused of a few fraud and warranty theft issues. After brief research you can easisly see that 1. the charges were dropped and owner acquitted, 2. the information is completely speculation and the person writing the articles opinion and in no way truthful.
