My husband and I needed to pay our phone bill quick so I purchased a netspend card.  You have to go online to activate the card, so I went online and entered our informaton. On the package it says you can use a tax i.d. number, but online there was no option to insert this number. After entering all our information the website said we had to call the company because they were unable to verify our information.

When I called customer service, it cost 50 cents, and the operator said we needed to send in a copy of our tax id number before they could activate the card. I explained that we needed to pay our phone bill and said we could just put it in my name and social security number.h They said we couldn't because we had already started the process in my husbands name. There is no way to return the card so I emailed the information they asked for.

Now the money is still not on the card two days later and our phone bill is two days late. Customer service said they could not help, we would have to wait for the paperwork to be processed. They are so rude and no help at all. Customer service said that they are like a bank and have to verify information. I said that they are not a bank and we loaded the card to use one time and would never use their service again.

So if you need to pay a bill quick do not use this company.  Now our bill is late and it cost money everytime you need to call them. What a scam.
