I have been a customer of Nettalk since May 2012.  Since the very beginning, I've had some serious problems with the quality of the service.  I've tried several times to connect with their Customer Support.  Frequently, I get no call back at all or if I do, it is weeks or even months after submitting the complaint ticket.  When I have been able to make contact, the tech support blamed my internet provider for the problems.  I've since changed internet providers and still have the exact same problems. 

I have requested to speak to a manager.  That was 8 weeks ago.  I did get an email from a tech support agent after 5.5 weeks, asking questions like the model and serial number of my hardware.  I replied with the information, which should have been on record from the other times I've submitted a complaint.  I have not had a reply yet despite reminding them in my email reply that I wish to speak to a manager.

I just want others to know the shameful level of commitment to the customer demonstrated by Nettalk.  Either their tech support is so overwhelmed trying to deal with an inferior product, or the company just doesn't care enough about their customer to make customer support a priority.  Either way, buyer beware.

What is in their control.

What is in control of the company is actual customer service.  If they cannot provide a return call from an actual manager, they could at least provide a response from a tech support rep.  So far it has now been over 20 weeks and I still have not received a response other than an email apologizing for the lack of response (due to problems in their tech support system). 

 

What I hope is that the company has greater problem solving abilities than the last person posting a rebuttal and would not assume that there is something wrong with my house line without actually investigating the issue.  If they would actually provide a tech support rep, the first thing they might do is called "port forwarding" with my router.  That's a good place to start.  They might try to verify if I have the latest firmware.  This is what intelligent analysts do.  Start with the problem and try to solve it systematically.  Not make up facts and assume without verification.

I Love My Net Talk

I have hat my Nettalk duo device going on 2 years now and have had nothing but clear crisp calls. Ive had neighbors use my phone and they said they couldn't tell it wasnt a "Lands Line"I ve Used On Internet from both WOW and Comcast, With no problems what so ever..I'm sorry i cant speak of their customer service because i've never had to use it.

 But "Managers" no longer have the power to bend over backwards to give you your way. These corporations do not want the managers doing this anymore. See the manager is only allowed to do very little when it comes to customer resolution. So most times you wont get to talk with them simply because there is nothing they can do.

Second....get over yourself. You are one person DEMANDING attention from them. They could lose you and not even BLINK!!! Its not about customer service. If there is a problem they can not control or have nothing they can do for it, why would you expect a call? Thats silly to even entertain. They have given their response to your situation. All the calling and bitching isnt going to get you anywhere. And if you are one of those LOVELY ppl who is so self entitled that you believe you can make a stink and get your way, then they wont even bother doing anything for you. I know this from my own experiences.

It is upsetting to know that you as a customer really dont mean that much to them. Where it is even worse that youre not recieving the support you feel you deserve. As for your not recieving the quality of service, you do realize that even though you have changed ISP, the LINE HARDWARE could be that screwed up in your area. I.E. The lines leaving your house. The lines conectting to your ISP from your neighborhood. If there is any issue with these, that is going to effect your service. And it would be nothing they could control. SO before you go bashing a business be sure youre bashing them for something they CAN control.
