NETZERO - A UNITED ONLINE COMPANY NETZERO Fraudulent Collection Notices Woodland Hills California

This is the second year that I have received a phoney "Final Notice" collection letter from Netzero for $19.90.

When I call "UNITED ONLINE CREDIT DIVISION" I receive a recorded message telling me how to remit the money. Of course they have no address, just a P.O. Box.

When I go directly to NETZERO's website, and call their customer service number, 1-888-349-0029 ( IN INDIA ) -- they tell me to write to the P.O. Box address.

LAST YEAR, after checking my past account (which was cancelled 5 years ago -- back in the last days of dial-up) they graciously admitted their "mistake" and apologized.

This year they lied and said that my account was just recently cancelled -- "Lisa" meekly stated I cancelled July 3, 2008! They owner of this company is using some legal tax loophole to teach these third world employees to lie now!

THIS IS AN ONGOING SCAM and this year I'm reporting them to the State's Attorney Generals Office, Division of Consumer Fraud.

EVERYONE WHO HAS RECEIVED THIS FRAUDULENT NOTICE NEEDS FIGHT BACK!!!
