I am a consumer of the Neurosync services. My 19-year old son has severe treatment resistant depression. Neurosync was recommened to us by his psycholotherapist when his psychiatrist and the psychiatrict hostpital doctors were telling us that he needed Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT).

ECT has major drawbacks and should be used as an absolute last resort, so I went searching for other alternatives. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive therapy that is having good results, but it is $20k an not covered by most insurances yet. Then we tried Neurosync. At $2500, I was more than happy to give it a shot -- my son needed help and we've been at this for 5 years now. 

I can only tell you that in those 10 sessions with Neurosync, my son went from a closed-down, severly depressed, aggitated and isolated person to someone who is now getting up every morning, taking a shower, interacting with the family, and beginning to look forward to the future.

If you have not lived with a severly depressed person before, please do not respond to this comment. You can only know how desperate and discouraging it is to constantly run into roadblocks when trying to help your loved one find their way out of an enormous abyss if you've lived it. 

Can I say 100% that the changes can be attributed directly to the therapy provided by Neurosync? Of course not. Will they last? I don't know yet. But I can say with certainly that this therapy was a major factor, and has not only given my son access to his future again, but has given me the relief I needed from caregiving a severly depressed child.

There are no magic bullets in life. This isn't one either. The best we can all do is keep trying new things until something works. I am grateful to have found these folks (and they are genuinely caring people who believe in what they do). 

This Ripoff Report filed against NeuroSync of Colorado is untrue.  NeuroSync and Brain State Technologies do not claim to "magically" cure anything.  The Brainwave Optimization process is an effective, holistic and non-invasive method of achieving greater brain balance and harmony. Improving brain function has shown to help with injuries, disorders, stress, pain, anxiety, sleeplessness, addictive dependencies, challenges to learning and performance.
