I have lost $1,600.00 to these frauds. Be very aware of recieving any return calls to 1-877-778-3852. It is a very large scam operation. If you ask them about this rip-off report, they'll say it was a disgruntled ex-employee. Don't believe it.Save yourself some time and money. They'll promise you about their ability to coordinate with your mortgage company and get a significant lower monthly mortgage payment or lower interest rate or bothand how you will receive a prompt refund of all monies if they are unable to get a substantial decrease in your monthly mortgage statement. It is a Scam folks. They prey on honest people during this time of uncertainty with the national mortgage crisis and unemployed men and women. It is a call center set-up. My consolation is quite simply, everything will make a full circle. The bad you do to others will come back to haunt you. p.s. I hope they all go to h**l in a handbasket. Good Luck. Thank You.

Response is a Hoax
AUTHOR: Roger Dye - (United States of America)

The response from New Hope Financial is a complete Hoax! I trusted and believed what I was told. I was naive, I admit. They did absolutely nothing for me except take my money. True, I am a 100% Service Connected veteran from the Viet Nam war. That bit of info has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that they never got in touch with my mortgage company. No contact at all. After sending NHF $400 dollars a month for four months and my mortgage company never heard of them, with no correspondence from NHF in my file, I knew I had been hood-winked by these charlatins. Returned my calls? Are you kidding me?! Their rebuttal is a out and out lie. Period. At one time I had decided to take a trip out to their location in California and confront them, then, I probably would have been arrested and lose additional monies. So, I chalked it up to a small price to pay for their lack of integrity and honesty. Words I'm sure that have no meaning to them. A Refund? Good Luck with that. Believe whatever you like, I know the truth. Thank You and good luck.

I am a current customer of NHF and would like to give my experience with their process. Unlike the persons complaining here, I have had very good service from them. Admittedly, I get a little anxious whenever I see post like this but there are 2 sides of every story. I have been going through my modification with NHF for over a year now but the delay is from the mtge company dragging their feet. After reading the rebuttal from NHF to this post I can say that it has been my experience that they have been very responsive and professional with frequent updates by phone and email. They always call back whenever I leave a message and have also dealt with some of the very people mentioned in this post. They told me that this would be a very slow process but they have done everything that they promised so far. I just wanted to give my 2 cents worth since we only seem to hear about the complaints but never about the good stuff.

Rebuttal to Mr. Dye's false claims
AUTHOR: deborah - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, February 23, 2011
I am Brady, the senior processor for New Hope Financial. I am writing this rebuttal to give our side of this situation. Here are the facts of the Mr. Roger Dye's case. I handled Rogers file until a loan modification was given to Mr. Dye.
First of all, Roger paid $1197 to perform his loan modification, not $1600 (first lie from Mr. Dye). We kept in contact with Mr. Dye every step of the way thru phone and email. We have a 1" thick file on Mr. Dye's loan modification request. We successfully completed a restructuring of Roger's file. (2nd lie from Mr. dye) The savings apparently was not sufficient enough for Roger, but the savings was multiple times more than what Mr. Dye paid to get this restructuring from our company.
Our contract clearly states that we will give a full refund if a loan modification is not successfully achieved. Our company performed this service. (lie # 3 from Mr. Dye)
We deal with unreasonable and irresponsible people on a daily basis. We did our job. We completed a loan modification for Roger. It is sad that people cannot own up to their own problems.
Mr. dye, tell the truth, you owe it to yourself. Quit blaming the vietnam war for your problems.
Anybody may call us at any time to discuss this file. We can answer any questions or concerns you may have. 877-778-3852. We always answer our phone.
