New Horizon Resource Group Manny Plasencia Defrauded by company to provide services for Loan Modification. Mr. Plasencia is committing criminal acts against clients. Hialeah, Florida

On December 2010, New Horizon Resource Group represented by Manny Plasencia were hired to provide mortgage Loan Modification services for which he was paid $3230. After hiring Mr. Plasencia, I was never contacted about update on the process of filing papers with mortgage Lender. After leaving several messages with Mr. Plasencia, he finally responded 1 month later.

Mr. Plasencia stated to me on the phone that prilimanary work had been done to complete (Forensic Audit, and Moratorium filed with the Prince Georges County Court). One month later, I initiated contact to ascertain progress with documents being submitted to Lender. I then told to contact Ms. Nekeisha Thomas of (gmnlawgroup@live.com) acting as his paralegal to process paper work for Loan Modifications and clients. She then stated that Mr. Plasencia, had not sent my file to her after a month had passed to be processed.

After resending copies of updated documents to Ms. Thomas and speaking with her after serveral unanswered phone calls, she stated to me that she had not spoken to Mr. Plasencia, after trying contact him to find out where my paper work was. In March 2011, I contacted Ms. Thomas to ascertain where the status of the process was, she stated to me that unfortunately nothing had been done due to the fact that Mr. Manny Plasencia had not paid her for working on other clients files. And that until she's paid she couldn't do anything.

She said that I needed to contact Mr. Plasencia. After reaching him he lied that my paper work was being processed and that He had to fired Ms. Thomas for lack of performance. Not knowing that she stated to me that she had not been paid as an independent contractor. I then had an very heated conversation with Mr. Plascencia for lying to me about progress and blaming Ms. Thomas for his responsibility. I then requested legal proof that he had indeed sent my file to the Lender.

To date, after five months of dealing with this character I not receive any such proof as promised by Mr. Plasencia. My files were left in limbo knowingly by Mr. Plasencia and his company with no intent to perform the services for which He was paid. Each time I have spoken with Mr. Plasencia he has placated my concerns and my questioning of the facts. Misrepresenting the truth and continuing to flat out lie about what was complete.

I have sent an email to Mr. Plasencia demanding a total refund, of which He has not responded to. This man should be prosecuted for fraud and placed in jail for his blatant disregard for the business for which he was hired. He should be made to answer for his illegal practices and the misrepresentation of being a practicing lawyer in the state of Florida.
