Don't be fooled as I was!

This was to be a lead generating service that was to secure set appointments for Final Expense Insurance sales. The callers were all of foreign accent and very hard to understand. They talked over the potential clients and pushed appointments on them.

They opened the call with a bold faced lie asking if they received a mailing they had sent to them a couple of weeks ago. There was no mailing! Then they talked as fast and without interuption to the potential clients looking for them to just say yes so they could get off the phone with them. These are seniors. You need to talk slowly and with good enounciation or you are wasiting everyone's time!

Out of 10 supposed appointments they set for me, I wasn't able to talk with one! Not close one, just TALK with one! No one to the name wanted to talk with me regarding any apointment they had made with this company.

The company agreed to replace the leads after I hounded them for over a month. I'm still waiting for the replacements and it is now two months later.

I wasted $430 for nothing but aggrivation!!

Consumer's Original Complaint :

This company is misrepresenting itself to unsuspecting ethical insurance agents. They promise one thing ans deliver something less than except able.

This is a lead generation business for insurance agents. I was led to believe appointments were to be set for me by them with viable/willing/interested customers. I was to get a total of 10 leads delivered to me within 11 days of the start of the leads being generated. I have been with the company for 34 days and have received 2 leads they claim to be except able of which are not. They sent me a recording of the leads for verification and on the recording they are confusing and tricking seniors to agree to something they don't want. I have gone on 8 of their so called leads and have yet to get into the residence. I am met at the door and summarily asked to leave. They want nothing to do with what I have to offer what so ever! These leads were to be with seniors that wanted and needed funeral insurance. The way they are running their telemarketing is fast talking and talking over seniors confusing them into something less than ethical. I have repetitively have called daily and e-mailed numerous times in attempts to seek a resolve. My e-mails have gone unanswered and my voice messages not returned. The only person I have been able to contact is Rebecca Blake at 877-949-8777 x700 in customer service. She acknowledges and ignores. Promises to return your call never to be heard again until you call numerous times again until she answers the phone. This is an unrepeatable and dishonest business taking advantage of both sales agents (I happen to be a senior as well) and the seniors they are calling. If any agent is using their leads, with  their appointment setting tactics they are using, those agents are scamming the customers as well.  


Consumer's Desired Resolution:

A refund or how about 10 real appointments with 10 seniors that at least want to talk with me. I'm just trying to make a living like anyone else, but I draw the line when it comes to being unethical. I want to help people that are seeking the help. Not cram something down someones throat by trickery or deception. I'm not saying I will close 10 sales out of 10 leads, but it is pretty hard to help someone with any sale if they won't even allow you to talk with them! I need to at least get into the house to give a presentation. I'm a senior myself. Trust is built with people, or lost with people with how you talk to and with them. Talking fast - talking over - not listening to their responses and continuing to talk over - and pushing an appointment they don't want doesn't exactly build trust!

Yes you do have me scheduled, after complaining for over a month and in fact I received my first replacement lead earlier today. I have already sent it back! It is attached to this communication. The customer resides in a skilled to critical care NURSING HOME!

This isn't going away with me! It seems as though you can't produce qualified leads so why don't you refund my $430 and I'll go away. If not, I guess we'll keep doing this dance and I'll need to keep forwarding these goings on to the BBB, the Texas Attorney General's office, and the RIP OFF report as they all requested I do.

I just want qualified leads or my investment back. It's real simple. Why don't you just call me and we can resolve this like two business people instead of this cat and mouse hiding behind e-mails and faxes!
