HOW IT WORKS?

My company is a leading provider of medical tourism guidance. On Monday, January 15, we were contacted by Mike Veser from New Line Media TV, who claimed that he was working for a production company and that they were filming a new series called ?Business and Beyond? and that we had been specially selected to participate. We were told that these shows would be played on CNN, DISCOVERY and other major channels. Mike also informed me that in order to participate, we needed to answer more questions so that they could ensure that we were a good fit with the show.

Mike sounded very professional. In fact, I was convinced and as a result, became very excited about our participation in the show. I did not suspect this to be a scam since we are often contacted by various media outlets who want to run a story on us. Being contacted by NEW LINE MEDIA TV, who claimed to have produced shows for major TV companies, was no exception, and therefore did not arouse any suspicion from our part.

We scheduled another conference call because Mike expressed his wish to make sure, yet again, that the show and our company were a good fit.

During our second phone conversation, Mike asked me numerous questions and practically made me sweat trying to get more information out from me. Evidently, we really wanted to be featured in their ?Business and Beyond? show. Knowing this, Mike used the opportunity to pull my strings by asking the proper questions and, as I later found out, by reading a well written script.

Our conversation ended after a long and intense 45 minutes. He expressed his strong belief that we were almost a definite fit, but he added that he had to pass this information to his CREATIVE DIRECTOR (the senior producer of the show). In the very end, he mentioned, almost as an afterthought, a $27,000 licensing fee in order to cover some production costs. In order to guarantee to him that we were serious about carrying through with the project, he demanded that we pay the fee right away?before the production of the movie.

I became suspicious as soon as he told me about this ?licensing fee?. I became outraged because I felt like my time was wasted.

However, we agreed to another conference call with the senior producer of the show to take place that Friday (two days later). This was a cleverly chosen date because, as I later realized, it gave them enough time to send me a ?brain-washing? package that arrived the next day by DHL.

The package did indeed arrive the next day. (you could find the package on my website). It contained pages of irrelevant data (provided in order to create a false impression of professionalism) and yet more questions for me to answer. This package was definitely intended to convince and reassure us of their commitment and, most of all, to secure them the $27,000 sale.

Curious, but mostly annoyed, I spent some time online researching their company, NEW LINE MEDIA TV. Surprisingly, I found numerous RIPOFFREPORTS on the subject. Dozens of people provided true and accurate information about the company and the people who work there. Everything became crystal clear: I almost fell into the trap and became a victim of VIDEO PRODUCTION SCAM ARTISTS.

Being a big participator in the Anti-Scam Community and having successfully taken Nigerian scam artists to justice before, I decided to spend some time gathering as much information as possible about NEW LINE MEDIA TV, in order to expose their scam and protect people from becoming victims of it.

My search led me to numerous RIPOFF REPORTS (view the links at the bottom of this memo). It was very interesting to discover that this very company operates under multiple names such as NEW LINE MEDIA, NEW LINE MEDIA TV, PLATINUM TELEVISION GROUP, PTGTV, etc.


I pledged to make it my priority to take them down and to fight their scams so that other people would not get caught up in the same web of lies.

I will provide as much information as possible so that anyone affected can join me and my war against NEW LINE MEDIA TV and PLATINUM TELEVISION GROUP.

LINK SPAMMING AND LINK FARMS by New Line Media TV

If you do a search for PLATINUM TELEVISION GROUP or NEW LINE MEDIA TV on Google, it might at first seem like there is a lot of information about them. However, upon closer examination, one can easily recognize that all of the websites are being used by the scammers themselves to promote and publicize press releases. But the most important step, which is 100% illegal is link spamming. All these websites are LINK FARMS?an illegal tactic to boost your website in search engines. Once the search engines are made aware of this unethical and illegal tactic, the links will be removed forever. Another illegal technique that the scammers use is called ?Back Door pages?, only visible by search engines and extraordinary users.

Most importantly, all of the ?WHO IS?? information is hidden on all of the names; this is 100% illegal.

These websites are used to create fake PRESS RELEASES and to boost their main websites in search engine standings. This is very illegal. The penalization for this is to be removed from the search engine for ever.

A lot of money was spent on search engine optimization, but it all will be gone in a second.

THE WAR HAS BEGUN:

News Line Media TV and Platinum Television Group started a full-scale operation against me. They have removed many of the videos of my exposing phone conversation with one of their scammers. In doing so, they made me even more determined in taking them down and there is nothing that will stop me.

My actions were recognized much faster than I expected. Within the first two days of my videos being available for viewing, there have been more than 5,000 views in total. It is therefore not surprising that the NEW LINE MEDIA TV / PLATINUM TELEVISION GROUP scammers decided to take them down. What's my response? Bring it on! For every video they manage to remove or block, I will upload three more. There is nothing that will stop me. First, I was going to treat this as a small project and work on it in my spare time. This is no longer the case. Now we have a staff of four people who dedicate themselves fully to the fight against VIDEO PRODUCTION SCAMS. Also, thanks to the mass exposure of our website miraviroc.com we have received e-mails from volunteers who wish to help us fight the predators.

Today I was contacted by someone from the scam company once again.

He chose not to give me his name, and started asking questions regarding the ownership of the website (www.miraviroc.com). He also demanded that I remove all of the information from the site. Since he refused to tell me his name, I ended the conversation immediately.

I would like to emphasize the importance of spreading the word on this subject. It is the only way that we can guarantee that these predators are not able to strike again.

To achieve victory in this inevitable war against scam artists, people must unite and commit to the common goal of delivering justice to scammers.

Everyone knows that together, as a group, it is easier to make your voice heard than if each man was to speak for himself. This is why an organized effort must be made to bring together all past, present and future victims of scamming to make sure that it does not happen again.
