I've seen a lot of posts on this company, and I've seen some advice on how to get your money back and I wish I would have gone here first, prior to giving any information to this bank.
The NMB Platinum offer sounds credible but look out.
When they debit your account, they use an ACH transaction to do so. Why? Well, when they use this method your bank no longer has the option of disputing the charge. It's treated just like a check is treated. The bank can place a stop payment on future checks (ACH Withdrawals) but can't go back and get your money from the original transaction. It's just like cash to them. So NMB has gone and advanced their techniques for gaining access to your account and to your money.
I know, I had my account debited twice. For 2 different amounts. I am currently calling NMB (a few times now) and trying to get my money back but they continue to tell me to go to my bank and dispute it. This obviously doesn't work and they should know this. So, they give you inaccurate information. This is only a stall tactic so they can keep you thinking something is going to happen.
I am going to keep trying to go back to the source (NMB) and get my money back but I don't have much faith. I'll post back in the next few weeks and let you know my progress.
So far I am very upset at myself for falling for this scam and now I'm out money. $299.99! Should have known better.
My advice would be to steer clear unless you have money to throw away.

NMB Platinum

This bank is truly the most inconsiderate piece of trash on the planet. They are now requesting that my bank (where my checking account is) send a letter to them and state that my bank is unable to dispute the transaction! I requested my bank to do this and I have never had anyone laugh so hard right in my face. My bank told me that NMB was being totally ridicules. WHY? Well, here is the reason they gave me. Its because they dont want me to be credited twice for the same transaction. WHY WOULD THEY CARE ABOUT THIS? Even if I was credited twice it wouldnt be from them. Furthermore, if they use the ACH method (which they did) then they already know that the transaction cant get reversed. So this is nothing more than a stall tactic on their part.

This NMB Platinum bank is a blood sucking, underhanded, establishment. They take advantage of people beyond just stealing money. They further insult you by making you jump through little hoops, like circus animals to satisfy what? Morbid curiosity so they can sit back and have people laughed at. My bank told me that this NMB bank should have mechanisms in place to make the dispute/refund process very seamless and non-intrusive to customers. STAY AWAY FROM THE NMB VAMPIRES!
