I ordered 22 Elmo cookies from their website, two weeks before my daughter's birthday.  I got a reply email that my order was received and money was taken through Paypal.  I sent an email three days before the event because I had not received the cookies or a tracking number.  She replied the day before to this email with her phone number.  Meanwhile, two days before the event, she told my husband the order must have been lost and she would overnight them and pay the expense.  She calls my voicemail the afternoon before to tell me she couldn't deliver to a PO box, and to call her back soon.  My husband calls her back and tells her that my physical address is listed before the PO box, which it was.

Later she callsand says she will refund us because they cannot be delivered.  I am furious, so I call her.  She proceeds to tell me that she has wasted several hours trying to get them shipped, and it would cost her 112$ to ship them.  When I suggest she ship them, she says it won't be guaranteed.  Then she tells me no one can ship to me that soon.  I live in the middle of a city.  She also tells me that her business is a two-person operation.  My favorite line was something like her friends would say why are you worrying about cookies?  I am a very easy-going, hardworking mother who was just trying to buy a product well in advance.  She offered me a gift certificate.  Why would I want that from her business?  I only want to spread the word as far as I can that this unreliable business is not one to use for important events.
