New York State department of tax and finance I am still awaiting the documentation from my 2010 and 2011 tax audit stating I owed 3,13.24 and 1,718.36. My citibank savings account was issued a levy on December 5, 2016 for 3,074.36I was never notified by mail, phone or email.My current address that I was not notified of my new york state tax liability, instead a levy was issued to take money out of my citibank savings account for 3,074.36 binghamton New York

On December 5, 2016 there was a withdrawl from my citibank savings account for $3,074.36. I noticed this when I checked my transactions on December 7, 2016. I thought there may have been fraudulent activity on my account. The citibank located on richmond ave, s.i. told me there was ahold for that amount by the nys department of taxation and finance. Icontacted the nys taxation office and asked them what was going on. they told me there was an audit on my ny state tax returns for 201 and 2011 showing i did not file those returns, but i did file the federal. They stated there were 2 fees due. the first one that was held for 3,074.36 and another one for 1,718.36. I wanted to know why I was not notified? They stated they sent notices to my brooklyn address even though I have not lived there in over 5 years. I paid the balance in full and now i am still awaiting the documentation from there deapartment as i clarified my mailing address which they said they had on file for the po box 50084, si, ny 10305. Why didnt they notify me of this? they had my address, my email and my cell phone, but instead they did something sneaky, underhanded and corrupt by just getting a restraining notice and seizing my assets. I am a dissabled veterna that has been out on permanet disability since the last year i worked in 2010. This is just not right. I ask you to reimburse me all of the interest and penalties that were associated with these charges and including the 125.00 processing fee that citibank charged me. Also have this removed from any civil courthous and all of the credit bureaus.
