I purchased internet safety software from www.iambigbrother.com for $29.99. It was charged on my card as Newman & Associates 912-898-9091. I was unable to download the software. When I contacted the company several times via the contact link through the site i got no reply! Several attempts to contact this company with no replies, and they took my money!

I was recently scammed by this i am big brother company on 05/02/11, I feel for their new software called watch the tiger. After I was not able to download this software and my virus program kept block this site, I realized this download was a type of scam. I called my credit card company and the $29.99 charge placed on hold. They also advised me to close out the card and have a new one issued. My credit card company also gave me the name and number to Newman & Associates in Savannah, GA. This is the company that placed the charge. I contacted the company and spoke with Nancy Newman. Ms. Newman is a business owner who doesn't even accept credit cards. When I told her a software company filed a charge under her business name, she immidatley knew I was refferring to iambigbrother.com. Apparently this is scam, that not only gets you money, but they downloaded a possibly hidden keylogger to your sytem. I was advised by Ms. Newman to contact the Savannah Secret Service and let them know I had been scammed by this company. They are aware of this scam, since there have been several filed in the past year. The Savannah Secret Service advised me to put a fraud alert on credit unions for the next 90 days.
