I received an offer through my catalog company "Newport News" as being a valued customer I was entitled to 3 free magazine subscriptions for a year. Now that the year is up I received a cancellation card from "NewSub Magazine Services LLC" that said I had until Jan. 26, 2007 to cancel my subscriptions or my credit card will be charged! Well....the number on the card is ((866)560-9273, I called it and got an message that said the number was changed to a "new international number". I was then given the number (702)555-1212 which is directory assistance. Also the recording said the phone call would cost me $5.00 and some change!! Well...there is no listing for "NewSub Magazine Services LLC"!!! This company is linked to Synapse and owned by "Time Warner". How do we fight this battle? I'm getting a lawyer!!!
