I don't want anyone reading this to have regret like I do about using Next Op as a career search and counseling firm.

It is easy to feel desperate in these tough economic times but spending $5000 of your money on an outright fraud will only make you feel worse.

Next-Op / David Cutler is a firm based upon deliberate misrepresentation. Let me be very clear:

1) You will get a reworked resume. You will do all of the work.
2) You will get a web profile (basically a resume in web format)
That is it. Not worth $5000.

What they did say clearly and also allude to numerous times:

1) "We have a network of people to introduce your profile to"
This is a lie. They do nothing whatsoever to introduce you to anyone. They are independent consultants that have no interest in using their personal contacts to assist you.

2) "We have people working behind the scenes to help you get in front of decision makers"
This is a lie. In over a year, they have not introduced even one HR person to me let alone any other decision maker whatsoever. Not one.

3) They will make you sign a contract giving them 6% of any annual salary you negotiate above your most recent salary. You will do all of the work to get a job and then they want you to pay them more money when you finally get one!

4) "We have a 94% success rate"
What they don't tell you is a time frame for that success rate. So if you get a job two years later, does that really count as a success rate? If they did nothing to help you, does that really count as a success rate?

People, it is easy to think that when a person complains, it must be their fault or just some sort of sour grapes. Read the other complaints about this firm on this site and decide for yourself. The complaints are eerily similar to be just sour grapes, no?

Do not spend your money. You will need it being unemployed for your family. This is an outright scam. Please remember I warned you in advance.

Good luck in your search. You don't need Next Op.
