After several months trying to contact the company, I was finally able to negotiate a payoff figure (less than that on their "bills"). I sent a conditional check - "payment in full." Guess what? I keep getting bills! The last one had about $75 interest on their small balance "owing." I think, being spread out all over the country, they're unable to maintain communication with each other - much less with the consumer! They can keep wasting postage if they want; I live in China now!
