Nexus Communication/Reachout Wireless 

This company provided me with a very cheap rebuilt phone which I managed to use for almost a year.  The phone was the least of my problems.  Customer service is the biggest farce and I have never been treated so unprofessionally in my entire 54 years.  

I closed my account in writing over a year ago and asked them to stop collecting the Federal Lifeline services I qualify for.  They stated that it had been taken care of.  Well this is not the case....they have been collecting California Federal Lifeline funds for the entire time I have had a new landline.  This resulted in ATT disconnecting my account as you cannot have two phones on CA Federal Lifeline.  I requested that ATT contact them and they said Reachout had to contact CA Federal Lifeline themselves and disconnect this accout with them personally.  

My phone calls to the customer service center go to an Indian Country and have been met with unprofessional and rude service providers.  They say they have no record of me as ever having service with them so they will not help me recover the CA Federal Lifeline Services I need on my landline as a disabled and vulnerable adult.  I have asked politely to speak with a 'Supervisor' and they take my information and never return the call.  They hang up on me and are so incredibly foul in providing any kind of real assistance I am shocked this company is still in business.  This was also the case when I had service with them.  It, too, was awful trying to get help or positive customer service at that time.  

I have now sent a certified letter to their main office in Columbus, Ohio requesting politely, that they straighten this out and I have sent proof of my phone service and CA Lifeline service that has continued with them even though I no longer have an account with them.

All I want is for them to contact CA FEDERAL LIFELINE services and disconnect the old cell phone number from receiving these funds so I can get them for my landline!!  So far I have had no response.  CA Federal Lifeline nor my new landline provider cannot help me.  This is Customer Service hell.  

Now what do I do?
