 I've emailed the customer "care" team 11 times and still can't get help. I'm a US soldier deployed at the moment and can't utilize my NFL game pass account UNLESS I purchase not only a domestic account but also an international account. First off.....what a rip off. Secondly, I can't afford that and wanted a refund. Prorated would be fine.....anything. I'm deployed until July. I told them my issue and I was denied a refund. I got nothing but grief from their customer service team too. They're just terrible. I'd call if I could to yell (which I don't do) but I'm stuck in a desert at the moment. They were so awful that I'm actually taking time out of my day to complain here. I dealt with a "Jonathan" there that must be a robot as he didn't show any signs of being a human at all. The best part is he said " I hope you can enjoy your subscription".....dude, did you even read my emails to you?! I'm in a desert! All I wanted to do was watch my football on off days and I can't. Ok....fine....but don't keep my money. Long and short if these people have no heart at all. That and they aren't capable of actually caring about anything. "Enjoy your subscription"......what a slap in the face. It's Sunday today and I'll tell you what's not going to happen for me....I won't be able to see my football game, I won't be able to see my family, and I'll be standing by while the NFL robs me. Jonathan, I really hope you enjoy your day. Enjoy watching the game. I'll be over here in the Middle East picking sand out of my butt crack waiting patiently to see green grass in about 8 months.....I sure won't be seeing it while watching the game.

I am a bit confused here as I don't know who you think you are talking to.  I have nothting to do with this company, I am just a regular consumer that thought I would give you a suggestion as to what you may want to try to get your money back.


Personally I think you should get your money back, and if they aren't going to give it out of a "customer service" issue, then as I was suggesting there may be alternatives.  If you don't want to play that card and that suggestion puts you in such a rage then I am sorry for trying to assist.

Thanks for proving my point Robert. I get it. You want my money no matter what the situation is. I know you're not in the business of giving refunds. My point was that your customer service team is terrible....you included. Here's a nice little email I just got from your star employee Jonathan. "Hey James, Since you are abroad now, you can go ahead and buy the international version of GamePass. Let us know if you have any questions. Jonathan" That's stellar customer service there. Great job.

I did in fact get deployed after I mistakenly purchased the game pass. So I will be looking into this but you and your team need to be reported to someone over there that actually cares about people. I don't want to play the "deployed soldier" card anymore so I won't. But to be in customer service, why not service the customer every now and then. I'm home in July and if this isn't handled by someone who will at least pretend to care, I promise you'll hear from me then

You don't give the timimg of this and while I don't the the SCRA(Servicemembers Cilvl Relief Act) specifically covers this it may be something to look at.

If you were deployed AFTER you signed up you may be able to get out of the contract under the SCRA as it gives Servicemen/women specific protections and rights if they are deployed.  If you have access to legal council at your base it may be something to run by them.
