Nick's Auto Sales Nick's AutoMall Minivan purchased with warrenty, now dealer refuses to repair or refund my money. Van is now unsafe to drive. Philadelphia Pennsylvania
I purchased a used minivan (with an extended warrenty) from Nick's Auto Sales forr $3800.00. I paid for the van in cash and the dealer promised to do a fresh inspection and some repairs as the stickers were expiring in 2 months.
I had issues with the van as soon as I drove it off the lot, and had taken it to a local mechanic to check out, and it turns out that the van needs approximately $1500 worth of parts for it to pass inspection.
Nick's was going to put a fresh set of stickers on it, until they seen how much the van was going to cost them to repair. Now Nick's is refusing to order the parts, or returning my purchase price, saying we purchased the van "As Is", but I have an extended warrenty I did buy on top of the price of the van, thinking Nick's would honor it by repairing the van to be drivable.
The van needs an engine oil leak diagnosed, rubber door seals are leaking badly when it rains, (3 inches of water in the back cargo seat area, ) O2 sensors are bad making the van run like a deisel and stalling, the idler arms replaced as the van is dangerous to drive now. If the idler arm fails, the van will crash and wreck, possibly killing or injuring me, my family or others. The van hasn't been driven since after the independant mechanic checked it out.
I have all the warrenty paperwork, the purchase recipts, the extended warrenty, and the independant mechanic's diagnosis in writing.
I would like a prompt refund of the money I paid for my van, $3721.17
