First off this was a truck my girlfriend will admit to the irresponsibility of paying on the vehicle. At times she does completely forget to do things and paying a truck note was one of them.

The truck was repossessed August 3rd of 2007. Well, I nor my girlfriend have legal bindings to one another yet. So I went down to MY bank (Arvest) that following Monday (August 6th) and manage to get a loan for the payoff. The rep from Nissan (Mrs C) told my loan officer the 10 day payoff was $9811.45. Thus we procceded to find out if this included the reppssession fees, and they said yes. So I told my Loan officer to go ahead and send it and overnight the check.

August 7th 2007 we've (me and my girlfriend) been consistantly calling Nissan almost every hour to find out if they got my check, and they kept on saying NO. I manage to call my bank back and asked for the tracking number through DHL. When I got home that evening, I went to DHL's tracking system and found out that they recieved the check at 8:48am by a J Martenez in Irving, Texas. Which ticked my off beyond words. Their response all day is that it hasn't been posted.

All the while the truck is held at Swift Recovery, who've actually been a great help in giving us information on how to get the truck back. The truck is being charged $21.60 a day for storage fee plus a 25 dollar up front fee. And they charge over the weekends too. Thus far as of today (8/7/07) I'm charged of $133.00 plus tax. And if I don't get a release from Nissan before 6 o'clock tomorrow, I'll be charged another $21.60.

As far as I've heard (and read through many complaint), there is no one in that company knows what they are talking about. During the time my girlfriend was trying to find out what payoff was before my loan officer called, they gave her like 3 different payoff totals. This company needs to be dealt with and swiftly. I have a $10,000 check floating around Nissan somewhere and I have absolutely nothing to show for it!!
