Nissan claims to only support 1 brand of EV chargers!
Nissan's owner's manual directs users to use any SAE J1772 compatible charger (also known as level 2 chargers). But when I had a problem with my brand new Leaf, they denied warranty coverage saying they only support the use of the Aeronviroment chargers.
Nowhere in the sales and marketing materials or owners manual do they state to only support 1 brand of chargers. When I bought my car, the sales people touted how extensive the charger network is, and even the on-board software "Carwings" will guide users to chargewrs of every brand.
I was charging my car, and the charging port and nozzle overheated and became fused together. The reapairs cost $2000 and has taken 3 weeks already because the part is on back-order. Nisssan insists they only support the one brand of charger.

You fail....

You fail to mention the warrenty paperwork as thats the issue you appear to be having. Does your warrenty state what is covered? You can spout what the owners manual says or what Nissan has said, but the bottom line is WHAT THE WARRENTY says.
