I recieved a cpap machine for my sleep apnea problem and told that it wouldn't cost me any money out of pocket (insurance would pay for all of it). Six months into it they send me a bill. I call them and I'm told that the cost went over my alotment from the insurance company. Now I will admit I should have checked into the costs myself, but North Atlantic told me I wouldn't incur any charges when I recieved the machine. My insurance company already paid $750 for the machine that retails for $400- $500. This is an ongoing scam that many companies do. They over charge the insurance company and the chargr more to the patient. Needless to say I am giving my machine back to them and I'm going to have to look for other solutions.
