The sales persons Jay & others were fine and helpful. Joe, the owner, is impossible. We purchased a car on Saturday, basically ok. However, I still had a few questions, such as the CARFAX report, asked for a copy while signing documents. - Joe sidestepped me, by stating let's get this done first.
Nevertheless, a call was placed on Monday because I wanted to have one specifically. I expressed my concerns about not having a copy of the one and had to pay to get one; also, I also asked Joe about finding he penciled in "AS IS" on top of the paperwork. He said that is what the warranty is about - well, not 100% happy with that notation because the car was never addressed or listed "AS IS" and furthermore I would never purchased it under those type of conditions.
More importantly, I then found a discrepancy regarding the ownership. The car was listed and advertised as "one-owner" discovered it has "two owner's" - listed on the CARFAX report. Well, of course when I mentioned all this he was not too pleased, then stated he was with a customer, and he would call back. It has been 24 hours as of 2:17 p.m. on Monday, May 22 and he has yet called back. Also, called all three of the numbers listed for the dealership and not "once" has he or anyone returned the call. The phone trips over with this message "All of our salespeople are with other customers, and we will return the call in 3 three minutes.... Which has never happened? Unfortunately, I feel that since we have paid in "cash" - Northhills Auto, is finished with you. Well, that is not any way of doing business, and I am not a happy consumer with this treatment.
I wish I had read the previous reviews. - Finally, I reached Joe, he said he was off yesterday - somneone could have relayed that information. Nevertheless, when I stated what was on the CARFAX report he denied it. I said that I was coming in on Saturday for additional paper work, told me not to come and he threaten to call the police. Then he hung up on me. I have NEVER been treated so badly in my life. This is definitely not a place of reputable business. - Joe, does not know how to treat people especially after getting your money - BUYERS BEWARE!
