North Idaho Elite (Coeur-d-Alene); Dan Rud; NI Dreamin (e-mail) After submitting entry forms for an 8th grade AAU tournament in my town, there were not enough teams in their age group so they were notified of this on the date of the tournament deadline by the tournament director (not me) and their check was sent back. They then have splashed total untruths on the internet about me, whom they have never met, as well as about their being at the tourney and having a confrontation with me (NEVER HAPPENED). They have splashed these lies all over the internet and the college coach associated with this team no longer wishes to have his name or his college name associated with these individuals and has been trying to get them to rescind these remarks and issue apologies to everyone they have slandered. I have e-mails of all of the communications regarding these slanders should they be needed as well as those from the tourney director revealing their lies. Coeur-d-Alene Idaho

North Idaho Elite 8th grade girls basketball team (coached and directed by Dan Rud) from Couer-d-Alene, Idaho forwarded entry forms to the 19th Annual Veterans Day Tournament directed by Ron Stone. As per general practice there was a cut-off date for entries and on that date (Nov. 1, 2014) the director notified Dan Rud (via e-mail on Nov 1 and readily available should it be needed) that there were not enough teams in their bracket and that their check would be returned to them.Dan Rud then sends this e-mail to the director on Nov 1, 2014 and I quote "Thanks for screwing our team, players and coaches over on this. I'm sure we have parents who made non-refundable hotel reservations. When your deadline passed you should have let us know immediately. You have a responsibility and failed at that. Luckily I am in the s****.>

They never had a team in the tourney. I never have met any of these people and never had a problem with anyone at the tourney and I am not the director so I have nothing to do with checks or anything with the tourney and never have! I have all of the e-mails revealing the truths and they have been sent to Chris Carlson, head basketball coach at North Idaho Junior College, as his name is associated with this elite organization. His attempt to right these wrongs is spelled out in the following e-mail as follows:"Dan-after this incredible spin and choas resulting froma simple cancellation of a tournament bracket, I cannot have the North Idaho Elite name associated with this behavior. You have avoided my e-mails also. Do you consider my emails harassment also? You have forced me to connectm with the parents of the 8th grade team and also with the CDA community coaches and athletic directors to find out the truth so I can put this to rest. I will not rest until these men have received an apology, Chris.

My sincere appreciation goes out to Chris in his effort to right these terrible wrongs. And to think it all revolves around Dan Rud and his team not getting into an AAU tourney because of lack of teams in their age group!! My goodness, this man should not be allowed to coach at any level and as I have stated more emails are available and will be shared as needed simply by calling the tourney director. This has been a very well run tourney for 19 myears and Ron continues to run a well organized event yeaR IN AND YEAR OUT. I will certainly pass on these emails and any of this to other tournament driectors and the director has relayed the emails to the AAU directors. Beware of Dan Rud as he states he is the SEO of a company as if that will intimidate anyone! The North Idaho Elite is probably a well run organization with Chris Carlson involved but they should immediately eliminate any association with Dan Rud and/or the addressee for NI Dreamin!!
