2007 duramax crewcab. beautiful in pictures. called on phone - dav said truck was in great shape other than a couple of dings typical with a truck a few years old.ive got fewer scratches and dents in my 1996 chevy truck.  there are over 6 dents along the left side of the truck bed. fender flare doesnt com close to fitting properly.  a scratch 1/8" wide by 15"long and down to the metal. scratch did not show up in their pictures. i will admit there were a couple of scratches that were documented well in their pictures , so i expected them. dave says he was amazed that people want a scratch free truck when they buy used.

i didnt expect scratch free...nor did i expect a gouge across the fender/hood. but if they wanted to be up front about anything other than a couple of small dent or scratches, they could. my cheap camera picked up the huge scratch easily. i asked dave about it and he said he didnt know why because they have a high resolution camera. conveniently for them they use a ton of lights in their pics, so in the pic of that area there was a huge glare so you couldnt see the scratch. the lr tail light was broken. i mentioned it to him and he said no problem, hed change with a good one.

he did get it changed out... with one that was delaminating. paint overspray over all side windows as well as the back window.. im still cleaning that off. an area on right side of bed  about 2 inches wide from top to bottom where something was spilled or ran down and ruined the finish. brake controller did not work. got a different story from receptionist versus salesman as to where my title was. she said she mailed it because i paid for it a few weeks before i picked it up. he thought she had it at first. then he said he mailed it so it wouldnt be with the truck. not a big deal about the title other than the fact that you dont get a straight story.

makes me question their character. rattle in steering column. and holy s*** the amount of dirt and rocks packed under the truck and the dust everywhere else.. the water from my carpet cleaner looked like coffee.. thats just the back seat. i realize they will talk up the good points of a vehicle they are trying to sell, but a business where many of your customers cant inspect the vehicle on their own before purchase, a little integrity on the sellers behalf would be nice. i would not buy another vehicle from them. not saying you cant get a good vehicle there, but expect some problems to be hidden.
