Northern Aire ripoff, dishonest, misleading information, dosen't follow cancelation rules, scam, the owner is very rude and let won't you get a word in, Anoka Minnesota

Nothern aire, inc makes you think that they are coming out to demonstrate an air cleaner. They come in put the air cleaner (which is very loud and doesn't work in another room with the door shut) then proceed to show you their vacuum cleaner.

The people WON'T take NO for an answer. We were told we could get the product for $879.00 thats with all kinds of dicounts and getting the demo.

After a contract is signed they say they can't leave the demo until they do a credit check. They push you to add false income to your own then when all is said and done the price is more than doubled.

At the bottom of the contract is 2 cancelation forms. The company will not take cacelations by phone. It says "to cancel this transaction, mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of this Cancellation Notice or any other written notice, or send a telegram to". Then they proceed to give the address of the company. Well a neigbor of ours decided to chck into this further, then she decded to cancel also.

She took our cancellation notice with her so we wouldn't have to each make a trip and the company would not accept our cancellation. She called me to tell me this, the owner of the company (Mitch) got on the phone he wouldn't talk to me. He said I had to call back. I called back. Told him I wanted to cancel, he wouldn't do it. I told him that nowhere on the form does it say that the person who signed the contract has to bring it in.

I said to him in other words that means that the mailman or UPS can't deliver it either. Hhe wouldn't listen to me. He started yelling at me then I really got mad. He then proceeds to say that we were offered an $800.00 discount and started changing all his words.
