I purchased a reborn doll from her and it took over 10 weeks to receive the doll. When I got the doll it wasn't what I ordered, so I sent it back along with my daughters hair to be used on the new doll. It's been 12 weeks now and when I contacted Amanda Milbury to ask about my order, she told me she was sick and lost my info. She won't give me a refund and she won't send me a new doll. She has also used my daughter's hair on her other dolls for other clients. Because it's been more than 45 days EBay and PayPal won't work with me to get a refund and I can't leave feedback on the purchase to warn others about my experience. I think she takes so long to make the dolls for this reason. It's fraud, I'm out $300.00 and my daughter's hair. I have no doll to show for it.

What is the status of the doll? Are you able to complete the order or should I contact Ebay for a refund? I'm not sure why you haven't contacted me about the completion date. I'm not sure why it's taking so long. Please keep me informed.

I am sorry about not contacting you sooner. I have been sick and I lost my information for my orders and I am glad you contacted me. I know that I have the hair here to use and if you could confirm the eye color that would be great. I will be able to complete the order and I will send pictures before I ship her.

My reply:
I would like a refund. Ebay will be reviewing your account and I will be contacting Paypal and my bank to resolve this issue. I'm on phone with Ebay now, they are sending me your personal information.
You say you lost my information, Paypal and Ebay keep records of all the transactions, you can look up the order info there.

Hi Jennifer,

I am sorry that you are upset. I am not sure what you mean by Ebay will be reviewing my account. I never intended not to send you the doll. I just got out of the hospital yesterday when I wrote to you. I wish there was something we could do to work this out. The transaction was over 90 days so I can honestly say I wasn't sure how to contact you and I couldn't find your email address. That was bad on my part and I'm sorry. Ebay is more than welcome to contact me. You had ordered a custom doll and I sent it to you and then you sent it back to have it redone in which I told you that I needed extra time. I am sure that paypal has it on record that the doll was sent. I usually don't take returns but I did agree to make you a new one. I am not refusing to send the doll to you. I don't feel that I have done anything wrong in this situation. I can have the doll out to you within 7 days from now and I will be glad to tell anyone that. If you refuse to let me, it is not my fault.

My Reply:
I ordered a doll from you on April 07, 2012 and paid almost $300.00 for that doll. When someone spends $300.00 on a doll it better be exactly what they ordered. I specified in the order that the doll should have brown hair and blue eyes. I even sent a few photos of my daughter to make sure there would be no misunderstanding. The doll you sent me had red frizzy hair and bluish dark skin. I took photos of the doll before I sent it back to support my case. You said you would make me another doll and it would take 4 to 6 weeks to complete. It's been 12 weeks. This whole time I was thinking you must be putting a lot of extra work into the doll to make sure I'm happy with it. I was wrong. I don't want another crappy doll that you're rushing to put together. I just want my money back so I can forget this transaction even took place. This is your fault. The doll you sent me was NOT what I ordered. It's YOUR responsibility to keep track of your customers orders and contact information. If you make a mistake on an order you should provide a refund. I have the original email with the details of my order, I also have photos of the doll you sent. That doll is NOT what I ordered, that's not my fault.

Another Customer She Fraud-ed:
I purchased 2 dolls from Northern Lights Nursery and I received only 1 doll. I send many mail to Northern Lights Nursery on Ebay but she don't reply anything back!
I purchased second doll on March,2012 but I never received the doll.
In the first time, she replied it was doing. But later she had no response and no explanation.
I cant do anything about it. Because the time it passed over three months.
This is her email address northernlightsnursery@gmail.com
I hope you can also trying to get Ebay to close her business for fraud.

Thank you
Ruthai

The truth

I would like to set the record straight.  Yes, the order was placed a long time ago.  I made the mistake of keeping little records because I never dreamed anything like this could happen.

I finished the doll she originally paid for.  I mailed it to her in a reasonable time frame.  She mailed it back to me and told me she wanted it done differently than she originally requested.  She wanted me to use her daughter's hair on the doll.  I have not, and would NEVER use someone's real actual hair on another person's doll.  To accuse me of this baseless accusation is insulting and ridiculous.

Due to family problems and health issues the doll was not completed.  I was contacted and asked to provide a refund which I was, and still am, not able to provide.  No agreement was reached at the onset of the order that stated I would provide such a refund.  I have absolutely agreed to finish the doll and send it out.  I have not heard from this customer since that agreement was made.

The fact that this customer accuses me of using her daughter's hair on other dolls proves that this accusation is entirely bogus.  If anyone reads this please understand, I have her daughter's hair in my workshop, in an envelope.  It has never been touched.

I apologize that the order took so long but my life had events that were beyond my control.  I am doing the absolute best I can and if you would kindly take a look at my Ebay rating, it's very very high.  I have many comments there stating how fantastic my service and dolls are to many customers.  Please do not listen to one angry one.

Thank you.
