i recently purchased a f250 from northpointe of cadillac. i found it on the internet. made a deal on the phone. then sent a deposit about 3 weeks before picking it up. the salesman named robert said everything was all set and would see me when i got there as i was working out of state at the time. my soninlaw and i got to the dealership on saturday. went for a test ride and the truck ran out of fuel. being a desiel the filters need to be changed when this happens. jeff the manager said they had to ask corporate if they could change the filters!!?? when signing for the truck i told them i was going to get a ford extended warranty and robert said it was a good idea because they were having trouble with there warranty company and was going to change. two days later i drove the truck to muskegon and back, shut it off and it would not restart. i called jeff at the dealership and he said what do you want me to do about it? I took the truck in to get it inspected the next day and they found the trouble with the starting when warm issue and could be repaired for about 900$. during the same inspection they also discovered it needed all ball joints and front universals to the tune of over 1000$. I called jeff and told him the truck would not pass the inspection for the warranty . I had to leave to go back to work out of state for three weeks in two days so jeff said we could take care of it when i got back. While out of state the turbo and injectors went out and cost 2900$ to repair. called jeff and he wouldnt do anything saying i bouhght it as is and i should have bought an extended warranty. Kind of hard to when it wont pass the inspection!!! i waS ALSO TOLD THE VEHICLE IS INSPECTED TWICE BEFORE NORTHPOINTE ACCEPTS THEM. I then drove 60 mi back to work . The next day the truck wouldnt run again . back to the ford dealer . erg cooler, oil cooler to the tune of 2800$ this time! I couldnt afford all of this all before the first payment!!! I was stranded three days before christmas out of state and couldnt get home!!!!! I had to have a semi haul it home and am thinking im going to pursue legal action. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! THEY ARE MISLEADING, THEY MISREPRESENT THEIR PRODUCTS, AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!! After several calls to jeff, he said he cannot give me corporates number. corporate was was going to call me back but i still have received no call!
