We have had the same problem as many companies with the promises that have not come true by NorVergence. We "activated" NorVergence over 6 motnhs ago and our problems began. The outbound lines have never worked correctly.

They failed to inform us during our "meetings" that the cell phones would only be National usage, not international. Even though during our disucssions we emphasized that we made numerous calls internationally. Therefore, we were forced to keep one cell phone for our CEO/Owner as he travel extensively and must have access to call internaitonally. Our other phones were switched, having to change everyone's cell phone number. Then, in April, all of a sudden our cell phones stopped working, explanation was that they had to switch service from AT&T to Sprint. So, we had 6 people without the ability to communicate outside of the office for 3 days. I was on vacation at the time and this was a problem! We now have the new service and are not happy as the connections are not as good anymore.

This past week our T1 & outbound lines were down as well as our 800 line. We cannot begin to estimate the cost in lost orders of this outage as many customers use the 800 line exclusively. We were lucky that we could change back to DSL as we will not cancel this line unless we can go for months without service interruption from NorVergence. We cannot take the chance of being down completely. We've never had a week that we didn't have some kind of problem!

And, once again, our Matrix leasing company, Popular Leasing (Popular Bank) had the same response -- they are a third party lessor and we are bound by the contract to make our payments. I will say that after I faxed a letter to CEO of NorVergence and copied their representative, they called back and were concerned whether we had service. This whole experience has taught me that if it looks too good to be true, it is too good to be true! Sometimes, in the end, a higher price service is not always higher priced!

Our company would be most interested in joining a class action lawsuit.
