The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Rhett Kasparian during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards Notus Human Capital.

Notus Human Capital offers specialized services in correlation with job searches and ways to improve your current work performance to individual consumers as well as companies. These services include the revision of resumes, writing cover letters, and interview coaching for individual consumers. Rhett Kasparian explained how their services benefits companies during outplacement, "they'll send them to our company...it's a good gesture for them, and it's part of the severance package to help those displaced employees."

Leads for Notus Human Capital are obtained primarily through referrals from satisfied clients, as well as organic searches through internet advertising. Clients often sing praises of their services due to Notus Human Capital's commitment to providing excellent service to the consumer, "every person we've worked with over the past 18 years we offer that service for life...we offer our help for no additional costs." During the onsite interview Mr. Kasparian was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. He expressed that during the oftentimes trying and emotional task of finding a job clients have a difficult time managing their expectations. In order to remedy this Notus Human Capital makes sure to explain in detail exactly how they can help their clients. Additionally, if there is ever a perceived expectation that isn't met, "we talk to them."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Kasparian expressed that he believes some of the comments were made by a competitor due to the personal attacks made in the statement. Additionally, he expressed that a past client posted a complaint because Notus Human Capital reached out to them on a Saturday, "she was upset that he called on a Saturday when it was coming from a place of trying to go the extra mile to help." Our rebuttal details SO MANY reasons his complaint is unfair in its characterization. When reading it, it's clear he was the one who decided to stop services and stopped communicating with us. We would have gladly resolved the issue with him, but he didn't have much of a case and he knew it.

Buyer Beware!!! 


I hired this company to help me find a job after I had graduated from college.  I paid them $4,000.  For this amount I received a resume and their list of Linked-in Contacts, and a set of very boring and unrealistic DVDs of Rhett sitting at a desk talking.  After jumping through the silly hoops and finding myself going no where...and after complaining about feeling like the process was going no where...and after completing several silly assignments that were insulting and a complete waste of time...I decided to give up (as I expect this company anticipated; knowing they just had to wait long enough).  I consider it a very expensive lesson learned.  


The resume this company created was useless.  Every prospective employer asked me to rewrite it and resubmit it, which I did each time.  In spite of these jokers, I've done very well but I want to warn those coming up behind me.  When I called Rhett to ask for counsel for an approaching interview, he simply told me he would not be involved but "he'd be the wind beneath my wings."  Blech.  At this point, I realized what I was dealing with. 


I imagine this company will have all sorts of "explanations" and rebuttals as to how they are reputable and how this poor service was somehow primarily my fault and blah, blah, blah.  As a former customer, I KNOW otherwise. 


All I can say is "beware!"

A tale of two cities (stories) - the facts associated with the above comments.

On one hand the client states right from the beginning he was the one who decided to give up" - yet, in the subject line of his complaint, he says specifically "within a very short period of time, Notus services stopped completely. These statements obviously contradict each other.

Later he says I imagine this company will have all sorts of "explanations" and rebuttals as to how they are reputable and how this poor service was somehow primarily my fault and blah, blah, blah.

Yes . . . actually that is exactly how we feel. By his own admission he was the one who gave up stopped returning emails, voice messages and other efforts made.

The simple truth is, unfortunately, this clients poor attitude and almost uncanny ability to find the negative in everything was the single biggest contributor to his frustration.

Examples:

A.  Sometimes people simply dont want to do what needs to be done in order to be successful we understand that. By nature, they want a quick-fix to many of lifes complex problems the job search being one of them. But, because they arent willing to follow a proven process doesnt make it silly or a waste of time.

B.  Why would someone make an investment in their job search with us if they have no problem with it? Note that only after receiving his useless resume, working through the silly and waste-of-time material, coaching sessions, etc., he is miraculously doing very well.

C.  He expressed to us that his resume looked great and was a big improvement over his prior version. We can only go by what we are told. The need to adjust ones resume to each position can be frustrating, it would be nice if you could just write it once and be done you cant. That doesnt make the resume we created useless - it does show a lack of understanding and unwillingness to put forward a modest amount of effort on his end. Again, this negativity was injected throughout the process where his poor attitude prevented him from understanding not only simple resume principles, but other key information including understanding the difference between having access to the NotusNetwork and being provided a list of LinkedIn contacts.

D.  He mentioned that he called Rhett to ask for counsel on an approaching interview and was told Rhett would not be involved but "he'd be the wind beneath my wings?! What he failed to mention was the approaching interview was in 2 hours from the time of his phone call. Notus is ultra flexible in meeting the needs of our clients and when interviewing or any other help is needed, outside of the normal personalized coaching schedule, we immediately book an appointment. In this case, the client called without any notice and because of previously scheduled appointments, arrangements were quickly made for him to meet with another coach. No one said the trite phrase Ill be the wind beneath your wings - a comment of support was made, in addition to a follow up time being scheduled to debrief on how the interview went.

In summary - resolving any issues mentioned here would have been really easy. His coach was the President of the company, so he could have brought it to his attention. Or, he could have contacted the Better Business Bureau for resolution. These issues would have been addressed quickly and in a manner the client would have been pleased with (improved performance, concerns alleviated, or money returned). So, why did he choose not to do that - but instead post to this website where feelings can be presented as facts and twisted without being challenged?

We hope people considering using our services will take these comments with a grain of salt - and then look at all other sources, including the Better Business Bureau where we have an A+ rating, City Search, Dex Knows, Yahoo and Google Local and all of the other review style sites.
