Job posted on Careerbuilders for Security Manager. Only contact info was phone number 708-263-1236.  Called phone number and got a message describing the position and request to leave my phone number for call back.

Received a call from "Dave Dawson" saying he was with Novomatic. Asked about my background and said he wanted to set up an interview with his Regional VP, "Paul Kent" in San Diego. They were looking to make a quick decision and needed to fly me in within a week's time. He gave me his cell number 212-501-2007.

Dave said the company had provided tickets for people to travel for interviews in the past but occasionally incurred the cost of a ticket when no one showed up. Now their company policy was to cover half the cost up front if the interviewee would cover the other half and submit a receipt for reimbursement at the time of the interview.  Once agreed, Dave said I needed to send the money via Western Union.  He had me send the money to "James Holland" in Orlando using a test question "Travel By" with an answer "Jet".

Dave said he would forward a packet with info on the company and flight details. The packet never showed up and "Dave" no longer answers his phone.
