BE AWARE:

NR LEADS, an affiliate of Ad Authority, Inc promised to supply semi-exclusive mortgage leads. Our Company invested $2400 (minimum order) for 60 internet mortgage leads. Of course, as with any salesperson, Alphonso, raved about the quality of the leads from his company. Our company was sold a "pipe dream" that resulted in nothing more than more time spent returning leads than actually "working" the leads. The leads we received were either completely bogus (fictitious names/numbers), had already closed a loan, or so pissed at the number of phone calls they had already received that they began to threaten with legal action.

After extensive research on the Company (NR LEADS), I became aware that they are an affiliate with numerous other sites that generate marketing data...they don't capture information from traffic being driven to "their" site (www.nrleads.com), but rather, ALL of their affiliates. We returned approximately 75% of the leads that we received and after numerous calls to our sales rep (Alphonso) and Chris (Director of Marketing), they agreed that their systems were "having problems." They assured us they would begin "pulling" leads from their "good sites" and we should see greater response.

The leads were SO bad, NR Leads stopped our campaign to "investigate" the root of our problems. Our campaign resumed a week later only to produce the same results...absolutely BS leads (we actually received the same lead from NR Leads as we did from Loanbright.com. Loanbright.com is a lead service that charges $7 per lead...interesting to say the least). We then contacted Chris again, after returning a total of 55 leads, and asked for a refund.

Several days passed with no return calls and no leads. We finally received a call from Chris indicating that they were willing to "go above and beyond" for us and refund us $800 and 15 leads. Now, to date, we've received approximately 20 leads, all but 3 of which, we've returned...we did receive the $800 credit.

Of the 80+ leads we received, 0 resulted in even an appointment...needless to say we saw 0% return on this investment...NR Leads is a rip-off. Buyer beware. Please feel free to contact me for additional information on this rip-off company and/or their affiliates.

Tough Industry -- Not for Everyone

AUTHOR: Ben - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 10, 2006

It is an inevitable part of business that from time-to-time, a company that attempts to transact legitimate business will encounter a dissatisfied client. Often times the more business that a company transacts the more chances that company has to encounter someone that may not be completely satisfied. On a reasonable level, this is normal. What sets apart great companies from mediocre is how they handle these issues. At Ad Authority, dba NR Leads, we strive to provide exceptional customer service to ensure that, not if, but when these issues arise, we can do everything within our power to resolve them fully and within a timely fashion.

This particular isolated incident details more of the woes of the industry, rather than questionable business practices. Mortgage lead generation and the mortgage lending business as a whole has seen dynamic ups and downs over the past 6 years, all of which I am happy to have experienced personally. What I have come to understand of lead generation and advertising is that there are unfortunately no guarantees of a return on investment. It is a fickle business and as an advertiser with a $250,000 monthly advertising budget, Ad Authority, dba NR Leads also sees poor returns on the occasional media buy investment.

As COO of Ad Authority, I sympathize with Clifton Altamonte Springs, FL and would like to offer a brief explanation. It is entirely possible that a lead sold to LoanBright be sold to this gentleman, hence semi-exclusive and the reduced price point. Although we cannot realistically (or by law) warrant or guarantee a specific application rate or closing ratio on the leads provided to any of our clients, it is apparent that Chris and Alphonso went above and beyond their contracted obligations in order to try to appease Clifton Altamonte Springs, FL by calling each lead specifically to ensure interest, replacing legitimate invalid leads and even offering a partial refund.

Because I understand that some advertising methods may not work for everyone, I would like to offer this gentleman a discount on any one of our other lead generation solutions after I have the opportunity to briefly consult with him on his business model. In doing this, I am confident that I can help Clifton Altamonte Springs, FL to understand how to turn leads into conversions.

Sincerely,

Ben Martin
Chief Operating Officer
Ad Authority, Inc.
