Nuvell Credit Corporation ripoff Memphis Tennessee

My husband and I was in need of a dependable vehicle. We went to a used car dealing in Michigan. They got us financing though Nuvell Credit Corporation. We put down a $1000.00 cash.

We told them, we could only make payments of $400.00 a month. When they finished the payments was $530.00 a month. We did really good at making them until my husband lost his job and we had to move to Utah.
When we contacted them cause we was having problems making the payments and wanted to refinance the vehicle, they said they don't do that. Yet, when we are only 10 days late with the payment they charge us $26.50 late fees.

Plus, their interest rates rage from 17-29%. We are paying 19% interest. I was lead to believe they could not charge this much interest. True, we are adults and should have not signed to get the vehicle at that rate, but when you need one badly enough, you do what you have to, to get it.

We have tried to refinance it but no one will pay off our contract as it is more than the vehicle is worth. They are such a big rip off. They have us under a rock and we can not see our way out. I would not advise any one to finance anything though them.

Another thing when you do pay on the phone, they charge you $3.00 processing fee. I have never done it on the computer site so I do not know if they charge for using it.
