This company has drastically changed since the end of 2009 for the worse. All of the customer service contact numbers route you to the Phillipines. Customers are forced to speak to rude, non accountable persons...or worse...third contract Phillipinos who are happy to slurt out the WRONG payment information to you. When this payment amount or method of payment or time due, late fees, etc. is incorrect it results in exorbitant fees ( per diem fees, $24.00 per day, high phone payment fees ). When I called for the last four days to try to make a correction or make a payment, I was hung up on repeatedly, given the same number to call over and over for GNAC and Nuvell, that just routed me back to the Phillipines.
Payments can be made on their web site, Nuvell customer care.com..HOWEVER this is not held in private like I was assured...if you read the privacy statement, they make numerous disclaimers and keep the right to disseminate all of your personal and checking information to many undisclosed affiliates for any purpose it seems.
The so-called 11 day grace period is not in writing anywhere, nor are the so called late fees per diem. They have recently engaged CHASE Financial for the phone payments. Chase does not process the payments within 24 hours on weekends ( my payment Friday would not have been posted until today, but my grace period ended Saturday ). The agent in the Phillipines assured me the payment would be OK and NOT LATE....they did this last month, so I paid the $10.00 phone payment fee, and they slapped a late fee over $24.00 on the bill...which is not on the statement, so they are letting it accrue. The agent had described a $5.54 per diem late fee, but said it only applied WEEKLY, and none would apply to me.
In short, these people in the Phillipines DO NOT KNOW OR CARE WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. Now I am late for last months payment. I have unknown and unwritten late fees accrueing, AND THERE IS NO ONE IN THIS COUNTRY TO SPEAK TO ABOUT IT or NOWHERE TO MAKE A PAYMENT TO in a timely manner.
THIS COMPANY IS OPERATING OFFSHORE, APPLYING RANDOM UNDISCLOSED LATE FEES, AND NOT PROVIDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AVAILABILITY OR ACCOUNTABILITY.
I am now forced to pay the newly increased Chase phone fee of $15.00, still get unknown late charge, or put my information on an unsecure website going God knows where and still get unknown late fees, or risk having this mob come to take my car, which is a piece of june that I overpaid for and has a phony warranty sold to me with the car from Chrysler with unknown warranty cancellation service provisions that no one can explain or show me in writing, and high interest rates.
I don't even know if I will ever get the title to this car, since others have had trouble with the title possession after paying off the car!!!
What is going on here......DO NOT BUY AN AMERICAN CAR!!!!especially from Chrysler Dealers....I never had any trouble like this with my Nissan or Volvo or BMW!!!
