This company operates a website where you can shop and buy products at what is suppose to be wholesale prices. well they are about average price but that is not the problem.

After placing an order paying for the order and then getting confirmation the order was being processed etc. and of course having money taken out of my account. I get an email saying I have to join before they can send my order.

In other words after I made a purchase and they took my money for the purchase they then inform me I have to pay more and join their club before they can send my order.

I of course feel this is a trick and asked for my money back and mentioned their website is very sneaky to do something like that, they informed me they could drag out the refund forever.

They basically said they would provide a tracking number and ship etc. and yet im still not a member however of course they mention they are not going to really ship just delay me as long as they can on getting a refund.

This site is unreal. It is deceptive, sneaky and the owners apperently feel they can't break the rules and do whatever they want to get you to join their network get your money etc.

First off, James, I would like to openly apologize to you for some of my comments. I had assumed (and we all know what happens when you do that) that the prices that I had seen on your site were the wholesale prices to dealers. Thus my comment about being able to find better prices. My reasoning, most of the other distributors have a site similar to yours, but the prices reflect the actual wholesale prices to dealers, and not the retail prices.

Here is the deal with the 2500 dollars. When I had first thought of the idea of doing business with your company, a rep had called me pressuring me to buy into the website and all. Of course, this did not interest me but he kept insisting that I do it, and it finally turned me off of the whole thing.

Usually, when I look for more distributors, they will send me a sample of their pricing (what I would be charged) or it would be on their site, which is what I thought the profitbig site was.

Thank you for the response, James, and I will look into MWC again.

Hi Robert, I am the CEO of NWC, Inc and have just read your brief response to this thread. I would like to address a couple of your statements.

First, how did you do a "side by side" comparison of our wholesale prices? Unless you are a registered dealer with us, as stated on our web site, you do not see the wholesale prices. What you are seeing and most likely used for your comparison is the price we suggest you sell the products for.

In order to see the true wholesale prices you must have your account upgraded on our site, which is only done for registered dealers. Once this is done, you would see two prices, one with the suggest selling price (which is what you are seeing now) and another price next to it which is the wholesale price.

Second, you mention that the cost to get started is $2,500.00. Where did you get this cost from? The total cost to get started is only $149.95 and includes everything you need including full color catalogs, business plan, marketing plan, upgraded account as stated above showing true wholesale pricing, free drop shipping service and much more, all of which is clearly shown and broken out for you on our web site.

If you have questions, I would be more than glad to answer them for you here on this public forum for all to see.

I would like to close with an invitation to Robert or anyone else who has any concerns or doubts about us and the products we carry. Our warehouse and main office is open from 10am - 6pm and we are more than glad to give anyone a tour of our facility. We are a true wholesaler and have been in business since 1982 doing wholesale distribution.

This is one of those cases of "do your research". I, too, was going to sign on with NWC, but after researching other companies, as well as ebay, I discovered they do not have true wholesale pricing as advertised. Again, this was comparing them side by side to other wholesalers out there.

Remember, too, that true wholesalers will tend to ask you for your tax id#, and most of the time will provide theirs. While this is not mandatory, it leads to credibility. Also, I have never heard of a wholesaler charging 2500 bucks to do business. BIG RED FLAG!!

not going to waste my time with the num nuts that run the company i give up on them :) lol...

anyhow i read your response Melissa and have to say that is the best most pleasent response i have seen heard etc from this company to date ...no attack against me that i noticed no foul threats etc just someone saying the facts in what appears to be a freindly and helpufull way...

so i wanted to say thanks, you should run thier customer service department if they have one :) you seem quite friendly and again i really like the part about not attacking threatning or blaming the customer that all works well in customer service...

funny how customer service changes from time to time or from company to company....

there is a very succesful grcery store for example that came out of no where and made it big......

how did they make it in the competitive world of super stores etc... they went for customer service and to make sure you new where they stood out front of every store they have a big moutain of a rock and in this stone they have carved the two rules the company goes by....

company rule number 1. the customer is always right. company rule number 2. if at anytime you feel the customer is wrong please see rule number 1.

thats it end of story two rules and an attitude to serve thier customers better than the competetion no super store no super low prices just great uncomprimising customer service and satisfaction and now every one of thier stores has a very loyal and happy customer base......

Ok first of all in the recorded line we clearly state you will be billed or charged if you dont call within the reveiw periods! I know cuz I say it about 40xs a day. We have the recorded line for a reason. We have no problem refunding the money! The ex-employees that are on here are just madd cuz they got fired. The people that worked with us for a day or two automatically assume its a scam becouse they dont listen. Everybody just hears acount #. They dont listen to anything else. If you buy somthing you pay for it right????? Ok, well We charge your acount if you continue the program. Just like anywhere else. When you buy somthing you pay for it. Our program isnt free. We do charge you after the reveiw periods. We deal with 1000's of people a day. People need to learn how to have patience and to listen to every word. Not just what they want to here.

First I would like to thank Zara for giving us this insightful report and for taking the time to make some great points. We always appreciate impartial feedback and when ever possible use it to improve our customer relations policy.

As a follow up to the last posting by this customer, again we must state that they still not responding to any of the facts. As of this date this customer has had his order for 4 days as proven by our Proof of Delivery posting including the tracking # yet this customer will still not acknowledge that they did indeed get everything they paid for.

This customer also once again makes a completely false statement regarding advertisements by us. His claim that we use pictures of fancy cars in our ads is just completely FALSE and a bold face lie. Our nationwide ads can be checked by anyone interested in verifying this information and appear in magazines such as Small Business Opportunity. Our ads use pictures and prices of electronics like DVD players, TV's, Computers, Video Games and the other products that we carry. We do not and have not used pictures of fancy cars or made any claims to people becoming rich by purchasing products from us. This again is a complete outright lie that is easily verified by anyone interested in this matter.

Unfortunately this customer simply wants to continue to deal in deception, lies and falsehoods and in none of his filings does he in anyway offer any verifiable proof to the public as to the accuracy of any of his remarks (because as we have stated, they have all been fabrications and lies).

On the other hand, we have come forth in the publics eye and have posted complete and verifiable proof as to our facts of our statements.

what i tell you about the privacy policy when i first poseted it that they would change it notice they ignored any questions about the privacy policy UNTIL NOW!?!?!?

Wonder WHY?!??!?!?!? Becuase like i said go look now when i posted the original message they would change thier privacy policy and guess what !!!???

yep thats right THEY LIED AGAIN they ran changed thier privacy policy then and only then did they address the issue of the privacy policy once they modified it!!!!!!


thats ok though those that needed to see what the privacy policy said when they violated it saw it!!!!!!!

oh yea and did you notice that there above statement read like one big commercial !!!!


IM telling you watch out for this snake oil salesman there is a reason he lives in a big house with a big yard YOU ARE PAYING IS MORGATGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ooooo and they do promise get rich you have seen thier adds in buisness opppuritiy magazine im sure with the nice brand new shiny car whats that there for lol ......

Hi Will & James

Firstly Will - why did you find it neccessary to file a bad PayPal report after just two hours of purchase? - I'm presuming that you have fallen victim to real scam websites in the past that offer a similar sort of dropship/wholesale type deal, you purchased without thinking it through (or reading the policies first), then thought -heck maybe these guys are going to scam me like the previous company did - I'm going to get them before they get a chance to steal my money, if you thought anything like this - then congratulations - you are a normal consumer!

Your only failing Will, was maybe jumping the gun abit by leaving a bad report with PayPal - before phoning the Company to negociate a refund.

PayPal are a very strict on sellers - one bad report can lose a seller their account at PayPal, their money is taken & it means the seller has to redesign their whole website (with possibily thousands of pages) - just because someone said they were bad.


Next - James:
I have a number of genuine dropship/wholesale accounts (finally) - the problem is fake/scamming websites blatantly copy the style/product lines of the legitimate sellers - which makes it hard to spot the real ones from a scams.
This customer "Will" - he's reacted in a very over the top way - but if you read the stories of others here at ripoff report you might not be so suprised by it.
I think he's been ripped off by scams posing as wholesalers, but he saw your site & thought Wow! I love this site it has the excact thing I want, I'll buy it right now, at this point he must trusted your website enough to purchase.
BUT - it's normally after purchase that a customer gets around to thinking about what they've just brought, is the seller legit, am I gonna be ripped off ? - everyone knows that you are ment to read terms of sale BEFORE purchase - but in reality who does ??? - Credit card companies/insurance agents/banks etc. would be in big trouble if people actually read the terms & conditions before signing the form - as an example!

The customer acted out of order - like a woman that so wants a dress, but once purchases it hates it & throws it in a cuboard... but whether a regretful purchase or a sudden post sale fear of a con it doesn't always mean it was aimed deliberatly at the one store - it was probably aimed at ALL the previous bad store experiences they may have had & unfortunatley - you happened to be there,in the firing line when they finally blew their top.

So while I agree that you were unfairly treated by the customer & you have obviously tried to make amends by posting the item.

Saying they are mentally ill & posting their full name & address on a consumer website isn't very professional either.

I relise your Company name is being dragged through the mud, but this is happening because - this customer believes you are a fraud - if they don't have a genuine reason to be mad at you, they are being mad at you because you must look like someone who is a scam artist.

Customers are always going to complain - so in the end it is up to the seller to proove to the customer that they are indeeed the real deal - this can be done by joining trading organisations that people trust & keeping valid certificates 'a click away' for visitors on the index page & payment pages.

Example: Comanies like 'Verisign' inspire trust in me as both a business & personal consumer.

If Will is a fictious name made up by a competetor I wish you the best of luck in showing them up for what they are, you've posted the tracking number as a public proof of posting & you've bothered to reply here at the ripp off report - which is in your favor - posting a customers confidential information without their permission isn't - no matter how many times they post yours.

It is really sad that this customer continues to lie and not report the truth. His vicious attack and countless lies make us wonder if this was not a set up from the beginning by a jealous competitor or if it is truly from just a mentally ill person. It just seems very strange that anyone would file a Paypal complaint against a company after only two hours of having placed their order and then blame the company for doing something wrong.

The accusations made by this person are unsubstantiated and have no basis in fact. When asked to provide to the public proof of their accusations and to answer why they would file a Paypal claim against us after only two hours of placing an order, they do not do so.

Instead, they continue to ramble on with lies about hate sites that do not exist, comments about other accounts of ours that they have zero knowledge of and try to suggest that we are telling people that we are going to make them rich. None of this is TRUE and no where do we even suggest such things.

First, there is only two ways anyone is ever going to get rich overnight; 1: Win the Lottery or 2: They receive a huge inherence.

There is no such thing as a legitimate get rich quick business, period. If there were, we would all be rich. The fact is wealth comes from hard work and applying proven money making activities over a long period of time and accumulating the profits that come from those activities.

NWC, Inc was founded in 1982 as a name brand retailer. First, this persons claim that we violated our privacy policy is just another lie, our policy is clearly shown on our web site and states that personal information will be supplied in cases where we are required by law or in response to inquiries initiated by the customer themselves. Second, we would like to inform the public that we did indeed fulfill this customers order, as we stated we would despite their claim that they doubted they would receive their order. Proof of our delivery is shown below via DHL. The tracking # is provided in the proof should anyone want to verify this information themselves by entering it on the DHL web site.

This customer claimed they would UPDATE everyone should they receive their order right away, but here it is two days after receiving their order (remember, this same customer filed a Paypal complaint only two hours after placing their order, so we would have appreciated the courtesy of them updating the public that their order was received in a reciprocal timely fashion) and they have not reported back that their order did indeed arrive just like we had promised.

First off I called paypal asked them about canceling my Complaint the agent i spoke with at PayPal Told me this

"Dont do it! If you Cancel your complaint they will have proof you are satisfied and you will never see your money! once you cancel a complaint you cant refile it for the same company! They are LIEING to you about this you cant refile a claim once you cancel it"

so basically paypal said you where lieing to kind of funny dont you think!!!!!!?????????

as for being quiet it is what i was told to do by my advisor, sit back see what happens!!

if you truly sent me a camera great! I will let everyone know that after all your lies and mud slinging and continuing to ignore the fact that you violated your OWN PRIVACY POLICY!!!!!!!!!

that you sent a camera however im very skeptical that you sent anything or that you did anything but lie!!!! so we shall see......

if you are telling the truth this one miracaleous time then i will be happy to let the site readers know.....

as for the hate sites and complaints all they have to do is use google they will find them like i did !!!!!!!!!!!

and when i called paypal i was ready to cancel the complaint i was like this is silly this supposedly massivie company LOL is fighting me over 97.00 so i was like ok im bigger than them ill take the first move to resolve this i will do what they demand and get rid of the complaint but after paypal told me everything you said was a lie.... i cant refile the complaint if you dont follow thru....i cant get my money or item if you dont send it etc....basically they said if i cancel the complaint it is a trick and i will looose everthing so they adviced againts it so what was i suppose to do when paypal said dont do it ?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! they have not lied to me that i know of and yet you have so who should i belive....it was a tuff call granted i did want to just end this stupid wizz a rama over 97 but anyhow i did what paypal advised and that was to keep the complaint on the books until i had the item and it was the correct item etc..........

so if you have a problem i suggest you talk to paypal and ask them why they said you where LIEING!!!! TO ME!!!!!!!

Final update on this matter

It's sad that a report like this was filed against our company. We go to great lengths to satisfy our customers and offer first class customer service, but from time to time a customer like this one will come along and unfortunately will have a chip on their shoulder and be completely unreasonable and impossible to work with. Such was the case with this particular customer.

The basic facts of this case went like this. The customer placed an order from our web site; they didn't bother to read anything on our web site about our policies. Two hours after they placed their order, they decided they wanted to cancel their order and get a refund.

Instead of just contacting us and asking for a cancellation and refund which we would have gladly provided them, they filed a Paypal complaint against us, as if we did something wrong. When we asked them to please withdraw their Paypal complaint and allow us to just process them a refund they refused and started to threaten how they would file even more complaints against us.

A reasonable person would have to ask the question, why? Why would this person find the need to file a Paypal complaint in the first place and then threaten to file additional complaints against us when we did nothing wrong and were offering them (3 times) to process a refund for them if they simply withdrew their Paypal complaint that should never have been filed in the first place.

Why would they feel the need to then come on to this site and file false and misleading reports filed with lies? In our previous rebuttal we asked this person to come forth in the public eye and back up their statements, which we know are outright lies and as we can all see, they have not. They claim we have hate sites against us and we challenged them to tell us the URL of these sites. They have not. They claim we have lots of unsatisfied customers and reports against us. We do not; we showed in our rebuttal that we have 7 total complaints against us over a 3 year period 2 of which are from this customer.

The simple truth of the matter is this customer is one of the few people who just looks for problems and isn't interested in resolving them but just wants to try to damage a company's reputation for their own mistakes. Nothing this customer reported on this site is true and they have done nothing to prove their statements. We ended our last rebuttal with an offer, made in front of the public that if this customer would withdraw their Paypal complaint, we would issue them a full refund within 24 hours and that they could then post on this site whether or not we lived up to our agreement.

Unfortunately this customer has refused to accept this offer and has not withdrawn their complaint or even addressed our challenge to prove their comments about hate sites against us or large number of complaints. They have simple vanished, as they cannot prove their statements and know that they reported lies.

In closing, we would like to inform the public that we have shipped this customers order today by DHL and have fulfilled the terms of the order.

Our policy regarding customer service is and always has been to try and meet the needs of all our customers and to always go above an beyond when a customer is not happy. We regret that in this case, we were unable to do anything that was mutually agreeable to make this customer happy.

As we stated in our original post, we will provide 100% proof to anyone who requests it by providing the entire email thread showing that we repeatedly tried to resolve this and offered several times to process and give him a 100% refund, if he would cancel his Paypal complaint that he filed two hours after placing his order.

Now, we would like to address his latest false accusations to the public.

Once again this customer refuses to address the simple truth of the matter. Instead he prefers and continues to just want to make fallacious claims that are not true.

He claims we have hate sites against us. Where? Can this customer provide us the names of these sites? This customer also claims we have lots of complaints, again where? These statements are simply not true and he has provided nothing to substantiate them.

We have a total of 10 complaints on this site, ripoffreport and they are over a 3 year period. Of these 10 complaints 5 of them are from 2 people who instead of posting as a rebuttal filed the same thing more than once. This leaves a total of 7 unique complaints over 3 years.

In all cases we disclosed all the facts and the unfortunate truth of the matter is that sometimes customer prefer to lie in order to gain what they want, whether right or wrong. A perfect example is this customer who after only two hours of placing his order decided to file a false Paypal complaint against us and then when asked to withdraw it and let us refund him directly refuses to and then comes here to file more misleading and bogus complaints against us that have nothing to do with the truth of the matter of what happened.

The simple fact of the matter is this customer is being completely unreasonable and is demonstrating this fact by his insistency on filing bogus reports full of lies and not substantiating any of them.

In order to further demonstrate our strong commitment to customer service, we are making this offer again to this customer in the public eye. If this customer cancels his Paypal complaint that was filed only two hours after placing his order, we will refund him his money, in full, within 24 hours.

If this customer is truly interested in resolving this matter, he will accept this offer and then can report back to this forum whether or not we lived up to our commitment.

The customer is not telling the truth isnt that nice that seems to be thier company moto!!

Notice every complaint many that they are, they even have hate sites devoted to them, and law suits!!!

and as always thier reply to any complaint is "the customer is not telling the truth" how nice every complaint about your comapny is a lie and you are just a wonderfull company that never does anything to anyone???????????????

and the sky is green and pigs fly!!

first off you lied so many times up there in your response it is funny i almost feel sorry for you im begining to wonder how you make any money with your customer service style....and your deceptive practices!!

your site allows anyone to buy, never ask or mentions when your buying that you cant buy how come only after somone buys do you send and email saying hey you have to pay more you have to join to buy this....they respond i dont want to join i want my money back..sorry lets see how long we can delay that geesh i guess you should have joined and sent us more money..

This customer is not telling the truth about this situation and I would like to present the real facts of this complaint to the public and express that NWC, Inc is committed to 100% disclosure of our policies in a clear and conspicuous manner for all to see on our web site and in our printed materials.

We take customer service and satisfaction very seriously. We regret that some customers choose to knowingly make false claims and accusations and then threaten to file these types of reports in trying to blackmail us and other companies into caving into their ridiculous demands.

Here are the real facts of which we can provide 100% proof to anyone that requests it of what happened with this customer.

The customer is:

On March 9 he placed an order for a digital camera on our website and paid for it with Paypal. We received his order and sent him a confirmation email and a request for him to provide us his customer #. This was just before we were closing for the evening.

When we opened on March 10 for business our employees checked our email and found that two hours after placing his order he filed a Paypal Complaint against us. We also found 4 emails from him all sent very late in the evening starting around midnight and going through the early morning hours telling us he didnt have a customer # with us and decided that he wanted to cancel his order. He stated that he was unemployed, broke and couldnt afford this money and that he was terrified of losing his money.

We emailed him immediately and asked him why he found it necessary to file a Paypal complaint against us two hours after placing his order and not give us the chance to just cancel his order and refund him, which we would have gladly done. His email response to us was that he just wanted his money back and that he knew if he filed a complaint with Paypal they would refund him. He also makes the claim that he didnt know he needed to be a registered dealer with us before placing orders. BUT if you read our site it is posted several times on it that you must be a registered dealer with us to order from us and that we are a business to business wholesale company and do not sell directly to the consumer. He claims he didnt know this, but more importantly we were stressing to him that we would still gladly refund him, all he needed to do was cancel his Paypal complaint that was unfairly made against us two hours after placing his order.

We again emailed him back and told him we did not appreciate him doing this and that it was unfair and not right to make us have a Paypal complaint on our record (Anyone using Paypal knows how this can harm your Paypal account) and that he didnt even give us the courtesy to reply to his request for a refund. We again asked him to please cancel this complaint and that we WOULD REFUND HIM directly through Paypal.

We stated in our email to him that first, his filing a complaint with Paypal does not mean they will force us to refund him, which he claims is his reason for filing the complaint (does anyone think this is fair? He changes his mind and then feels it is ok to file a complaint that isnt true to get what he wants).

Paypal has a clear policy that if we supply a tracking # and show we shipped the order and delivered it they are not going to just refund him. We stated in our email that we were MORE THAN WILLING to cancel his order and refund him ourselves. We asked him to please cancel his Paypal complaint against us and that once we confirmed he canceled it we would submit his refund request to our customer service department and they would issue him a refund on Monday March 13, after the weekend since we are not open on weekends. He emailed back almost immediately that he needed his money back sooner and that if we did not refund him right away and without his withdrawing his complaint first that he would just have to go file more complaints against us everywhere he could. Thus, the report he filed on this site that we are addressing.

In his email he was making ridiculous claims of fraud because he felt we should be jumping through hoops for him, even after he filed his Paypal claim only two hours after placing his order. We told him that his claim of fraud was ludicrous, that by law we are given 30 days to either ship an order or refund it and that he was threatening to file reports against us and had already done so only two hours after placing his order and had not given us the chance to address his concern and issue a refund which we would have cheerfully done for him. We told him all that we wanted him to do was cancel his complaint with Paypal and let us refund him the proper way without a complaint being on the record against us that rightfully shouldnt be there.

Our last email to him stated that we were done arguing with him and that since he was refusing to cancel his complaint against us, we were going to fulfill his order and provide tracking information to Paypal so that they will have on record that we did nothing wrong and shipped his order according to their policy.

So, here are the real facts of this complaint. Instead of working with us and giving us the chance to refund him, like we promised we would (he certainly always had the option of still complaining and filing reports against us if we did not follow through with our promise, which we certainly would have lived up to), he has chosen to file more false and misleading reports against us.

He appears to think that rules do not apply to him and that if he makes a mistake or makes a purchase that he decides even two hours later that he doesnt want that he can just start filing complaints and should be able to twist and taint the truth to fit his desires.

What we have stated here is 100% factual and we have the email thread to prove it. If anyone wishes to see this proof, please contact the Editor of this site and ask him to contact us and we will provide it to him and he can forward it to you. We would gladly post the whole email thread here but due to this sites policy we cannot and email addresses and other information regarding web site addresses would get stripped out.
