I have beed ripped-off as well. I used O Premium Waters for about 1 year and when I went to cancel the account there was no one to talk to. I told the driver for 3 months that we didn't want the account anymore, and he actually stopped bringing water.
But then bills kept on coming as though we were getting water delivered. When I called to tell the company about the errors in billing, they said I must pay or they are going to send it to collections.
It has finally reached that point, and I am going to start the lawsuit against O Premium. They claim that my outstanding bills total $60.00.
To those of you who have been ripped off... The damage done to consumers by this business sending these fraudulent bills to collections is irreparable. I read about the people who can't get a house and others who can't get credit because of O Premium Waters fraudulent business practices. Well, it stops now.
There was a news story on channel 12 on November 3rd and 4th about the company. It detailed at least 15 cases that channel 12 looked into about these fraudulent practices. I am assuming that there are numerous more.
I am pissed and have contacted attorneys to represent us in a class action lawsuit. They don't care about us as the consumer, so we can't care about them as a business. I intend to bankrupt this company.
Please contact me if you are interested in joining the lawsuit. The new laws after 9/11 regarding terrorists, identity theft, and fraud make damages regarding the credit bureaus much greater than before.
We will win this case. O Premium Waters has been suspended from the BEtter Business Bureau as of September 2004 and since has withdrawn their membership. The complaints are documented, and still continue to grow. Contact me if you want to be involved in the lawsuit.

Interested in a class action suit

I have an account with O Premium waters and they told me when i set up the account that I can call in my payment every month, and they needed a check to get started..Well, the reason why they needed my check was to get my bank info to do an auto deduction from that account. When I tried to cancel it, their response was, "we always do the payments that way" I ended up having to close that checking account because of them. Also, I was lead to believe that it was month to month. Why would anyone sign a 36 month contract for water service??? What if they moved out of state? Would they still be responsible for service that they can no longer get?? And you all are right, you cannot get anyone in their offices unless you know the extension to call.. AND, they keep calling me with a recording changing the delivery dates. I think they have the recording for that so they can't get a severe tongue lashing!!

I am interested in a class action suit

Not only have I had problems with their billing and practices for the last 16 months but I was able to get a copy of my contract that they had on file and it clearly shows that it was altered in several places after I signed it (I still have my originals) and that they gained unauthorized access to my bank account for direct billing. I am currently trying other avenues but am getting nowhere with O Premium, I am beginning to think the only way they will understand is to take firm legal action.

Class Action Lawsuit? Sign me up! What attorney?

Damon, if you have an attorney ready to take a class action lawsuit, do us all a favor and post that attorney's name/contact info here. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested in getting OPW to STOP, possibly even get some money back or credit reports cleared.
Robert, thanks for explaining the matter to James, who obviously did not read (or see????) all (how could he miss so many????) of the reports filed against OPW.

Um, hello James! ..This company has duped many customers into believing that the service is month-to-month

It is quite obvious that James has not been fully informed of what O'Premium Waters is doing, and how these so-called 36-month contracts are written out.
This company has duped many customers into believing that the service is month-to-month, therefore it is signed. What the customers later realize is these service agreements are ALTERED to make it look like three-year contracts instead of month-to-month.
That's where the real ripoff with this company comes to play.
Please research this company completely and read every post these customers have been reporting before you add your lame two cents into the argument. You will only embarrass yourself by doing otherwise.

Did you not notice that the contract you signed stated you were in a 36 month agreement? Why would you try to cancel after 12 months? The membership was not over. Read what you sign!! That is a bit of advise for you,
