Oakdale Lending Group taking advantage of people in need of a loan Charlottesville Virginia

I have been looking online for a personal loan. My credit has had some ups and downs, so it is very difficult to get approved. So, one Friday night my cellphone rang. The first thing I should have figured out was funny with this, is that the call came in at 7pm. What kind of financing company calls that late at night.
Anyway, Robert Mansfield, from Oakdale Lending Group called, and said he is responding to a personal loan in which I applied for online. He tells me that I have been approved for 5000.00. Goes into detail about how I will have to secure the loan by way of money wire for the first 8 payments, and then one business day later they will deposit the money into my account. He said that my first loan payment won't be due until Aug. of 2009. The interest rate will only be 6%. I though to myself, no bank could offer such an awesome deal. You know they always say, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
But, I listened, and he said he will be faxing me over a contract to sign on Monday. Fine, whatever. Well, I got the fax on Monday, and he had called and left a message with his phone #, letting me know that if I have any questions, to give him a call, stating his office is open from 9am to 8pm eastern time. The next day, I decided to call, because I had done some searching online, and found alot of negative things about the company. Everytime I would call, during the hours they claimed to be open, I kept getting a message that said, thank you, good-bye. For 2 hours it was like this. Finally, when I called about 11am central time, all of a sudden an automated message came on, and I could get through. When I attempted to speak with customer care, they were always unavailable. When I googled the address of the company, it would come up different. I was getting extremely uneasy about the situation. I tried to call him out on the things that I thought were funny, but of course, it was all the same, this is real, blah, blah. I had to laugh because when you go to their webpage, there ar so many incorrect spellings on there. How unprofessional. I finally decided it was not worth sending them my money. I can't afford to lose almost a thousand dollars over. I have read alot of people that did go forward with the loan, and they gotten taken.
Please don't use them as a way of help. It is disgusting that people like this exist. People with not so good credit, seem to be targets of desperation. We all deserve second chances, but unfortunately in a world where we are judged solely by a stupid number, we will always pay the price. I still haven't found a solution to getting a loan, but to all of those who struggle with bad credit, if a real company exists out there, know that I will give the good feedback to the company that helps me.
Robert Mansfield claims that no one uses the internet to give good feedback, just bad. I will prove this man wrong. He had the nerve to tell me he knows I need this money. Don't tell me what I need and not need. Apparently he is the one who needed my money, and I refused to be fooled.
I recommend to anyone that comes into contact with this company, tell them to kiss your butt, because they are nothing but scammers. I hope someone finds a way to shut them down. I am sorry to the ones they have already gotten.
