Oakwood Mobile Homes Liars, thieves and everything else bad! abused & mistreated Crossville Tennessee

September of last year, my family and I needed a new home after ours had burned to the ground. We dropped by Oakwood here in Crossville and decide to go that route. HUGE MISTAKE!

We purchased our home in September, and were supposed to close on the deal October 4. But that did not happen becuase of the idiots at Oakwood. It was postponed a total of 3 times, again because of these idiots.

When my home finally arrived on their lot, I asked them NOT to take it to my property because it had been raining and ground was way too wet. Did they listen? NO! They took it any away. Completely destroyed my property. I was horrified!

My home sat here in 2 pieces from October until March! All this time we had been renting a place that was almost twice as much as ny house payment. I gave them a lot of money down and when things were not going right, I wanted to back out. I was informed that if I did, no money would be returned to me. That is just awful. Now, we were stuck.

During the month of November we had a tornado and all the trees on my property fell. Oakwood promised they would take care of it at no charge to us. WRONG! I ended up having to do it myself costing alot money!

Now, the repair work has not been done. A repair man came to my house once and just kept making up excuses. I have a crack in my ceiling from the sliding door to the marriage wall. Still there. They did not even bother to put a screen on my sliding door for pete's sake.

The day the water was turned on, a leak was discovered in one of the bathrooms. The location of the leak was just above the shut off valve on the toilet. So, the water could not be turned back on until this was fixed. I called Oakwood to tell them this and they said it would 2 weeks before they could come fix it. I was so mad!

So, I called my brother in law. He is a State and Federal Inspector for the State of Tennessee for septic and water lines. He came over and repaired the leak, replacing parts and things like that. After that was fixed, we turned the water back on and discovered that Oakwood had not even put in all the water pipes.

We had NO hot water at all! And only cold water to half the home!

Several breaks in the floor have been discovered, missing shingles, broken siding and list goes on and on.

They should not be able to get away with this stuff. It really does need to be ILLEAGAL! Just because my home is not a fancy brink house with 2 or 3 levels, doesn't mean I should have to endure this kind of treatment. It is still a home no matter what!
