Obexer Boat Company Knowingly employs drugged out staff, allows them to drive and launch boats. Overcharges for gas and owner has entitled attitude. Homewood California

Obexer's Boat Company is located on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe and has been there over 100 years.  It has been handed down to the current management by family----the easy way.  The owner, Sarah Obexer, is entitled and feels impervious to any recommendations or complaints regarding "her" operation. 

One of her old staff members, Jimmy Lane, takes enormous amounts of Oxycotin for various injuries, he is also a big alcohol drinker and frequents River Grill in Tahoe City where he has multiple nightly shots of Tequila on top of the Oxycotin doses.  He has been forbidden to drive any heavy machinery by Obexer's management yet he jumped in a very large truck owned by Olson Steel Company on Friday, June 28, 2013 and proceeded to launch the Thunderchick, a prestigious wooden boat belonging to Olson Steel Company of Oakland, Ca.  Do you think Bob Olson, the owner, would have allowed Mr. Lane to perform the pictured activity if he had known of the drug and alocohol issues--where was management during this activity???  What are the consequences--NONE-when Sarah Obexer was confronted with this information, she just did not care about her customer.

When the fact of Mr. Lane's drug use was brought to Ms Obexer's attention, she had no concerns--even if she had imposed the "no heavy machinery" operation rules on Mr. Lane just weeks earlier. 

It appears Sarah Obexer does not care about customers' equipment, only Obexer's equipment.  Mr. Lane is also the plaintiff in a local bogus  lawsuit having to do with the inability to use his wrist, when Mr. Lane comes to depositions, he makes sure to wear his wrist brace but not while working at Obexers!!!    Mr. Lane and Rob Weston of West Shore Sports hope to cash in but Mr. Lane does not appear to really need the wrist brace for his pre-existing condition--just looking for easy money from a pro baseball star.

There are many alernatives to Obexers Boat Company, it is over priced for services and gas---by allowing Mr. Lane to do whatever he pleases shows disrespect for the public and their equipment.
