OBL, Inc. One Box Listings, LLC At it again, Ripping off clients under another business name. Temecula, California

OBL, Inc. Formerly known as One Box Listings, LLC formerly know as One Box Listings, Inc. is at it again. After a little further investigation into the history of this company it has become very apparent that they use deceptive practices to lure in potential by promising your business to appear on the 1st page of  the search engines Google, Yahoo and Bing. 

I own a small law firm that signed up for their services a while ago. I spoke with the owner Charles Tumbrello over the phone on many different occasions. He specifically told me that they could promote my firm online in specified cities. I was rather impressed by the bold remarks that Mr. Tumbrello made as far as to say I would get daily phone calls. This was not the case. My firm had been keeping it's head above water by the amount of business that trickled in the door from search engines already. My website had been up for 3+ years and when I turned over marketing efforts to a company that sounded reputable I thought nothing could go wrong. I was so very wrong.

First of all, One Box Listings (OBL, Inc.) took over my Google Maps page that I created (not them) 2 years ago. They had a piece of mail sent to my office to verify my location. I guess that's how they get access to my maps advertisement.  Once they had access they changed all the information including my business phone number and replaced it with a tracking number. This completely voids all client attorney privacy privileges. They were recording calls where clients would talk about information that is not to be shared. They also went about creating a website for my company that contained 20+ misspellings and appeared to be written by a grade school student. 

My business literally disappeared from the internet. None of my clients or potential clients could find my information online. I went from the second page to the 15th page literally in 3 weeks. They destroyed the little amount of online business I was getting at the time.

To further escalate the problem I tried to call and cancel the services of One Box Listings, LLC (OBL, Inc.) by contacting the number on their site 888-284-8597. The first three attempts resulted with no answer or voice mail greeting. The 4th attempt I was finally able to get a hold of them but, the person who answered the phone sounded like they were 14 or 15 years old and literally hung up the phone when I began to talk about cancelling my account.

The 5th time I called, I was able to get through to Monika Anderson Tumbrello. This wretched women appears to be either the sister or wife of Charles Tumbrello. She began by telling me that this is a process and it can usually take upwards of 6 months to a year for the marketing to begin working. I explained to her that this is not what I was told over the phone by Charles. When I asked to cancel she told me the following which I think is key to point out.

1. She said I had to pay the following month of service even though I was cancelling
2. If I failed to pay the following month they would take my business to collections
3. They would File a complaint against my BBB rating due to breach of contract (even though there was no commitment on any parties behalf)
4. If I attempted to charge back they would take my firm to small claims court
